He is.

But you said: I've seen him play and personally, don't think he's all that fast.

If he's not all that fast, how can he rely on his speed. Speed, according to you, he doesn't have?

no, I didn't say he wasn't fast, just not 4.25/4.3 fast

I bet he'll record a 4.3x in the combine.

Ginn is Mr Glass though... remember that time he hurt his foot celebrating after returning the opening kickoff for a TD? What game was that and who won it?

Calling village.

Someone stepped on his ankle...but you knew that. Never injured in his 3 years at OSU.

Still smarting after all those Buckeye wins I see.

Enlighten us on the USC/Mich game...or the OSU/Mich game please.:lmao:

that is exactly who Ted Ginn is, a player who relies on his speed and nothing else

Rock....hard place. You've never answered the question.....how is someone who you say is "not all that fast" supposedly rely "on his speed and nothing else?" That doesn't add up.

Not to mention the "I wouldnt'" "I would" take him in the first round.

Flip....flop...man up to it...you're all over the place on this.

fine jack, Ted Ginn sucks, and he's slower than Larry Allen

Okay, what's the bet?

Oh wait, last time I had a terrible avatar for a month.

Take that bet. It'll be the safest money you've ever made. The chances of Ginn even running at the combine are somewhere between none and none.

An elite sprinter coming off of a high ankle sprain wont have enough time to train to run what he knows he can.. He will wait until OSU's pro day in Early April to blaze his 4.2.

He would lose Millions if he ran at the combine and lets say ran a 4.4

Sidney Rice, Dwanye Bowe and Meachem might run that. Hell get paid if you waits for that fast track 3 months after the injury...

Good point. I forgot about the injury.

Uninjured and he still doesn't run at the combine. He's a first rounder without running there so there's no reason to.

He'll wait for the 37 yard dash at Ohio State's pro day.

I don't know that there's no reason to. He could ensure that he's a top 15 or even possibly a top 10 pick if he ran around a 4.3 flat. Typically only the top 2-3 players in the draft don't show up or sit out of exercises. Players projected toward the middle of the first round usually always show up and run. But given his injury, he has a good excuse.

anybody that wastes a top-10 pick on Ginn is incredibly stupid...

the guy is several seasons away from being a starting calibar NFL WR...he is frail looking...he's listed at 180 and I'd be shocked if he is a fraction over 175...right now all he gives a team is someone that can return kicks and run some fly routes

Ok. I get that dbair doesn't like Ginn. Now that we've recognized that we can move right along with the discussion.

its not that I dont like him...its just that I dont like him with a high 1st rd pick...end of the 1st rd or early 2nd is high enough for a guy like that IMO

there are other WR's with more immediate return on the investment
