With the 4th pick...Trade to Rams

Actually, I said what I mean. I also already stated I don't think the QB's are worth it, so there is no need to "put that evaluation on everyone else." You almost weren't a douchebag there for a few minutes, did it hurt?

You said it but failed to provide a single example of it. Spouting off about some nonsense about not having enough coffee.

You didn't provide an example because it doesn't exist. You just don't agree that there is a QB worthy. Those wanting a QB obviously do.

What does that mean? I want a QB at 4 nothing else too.

It doe not mean anything. It is just selective reading that is being used to suggest a fantasy platform to argue from simply because they don't like the QBs. If that is someone's position, I can respect that. I don't agree. But acting like there is some elite talent we would bypass to "waste" the choice on a backup is simply not a viewpoint that recognizes what this draft is starting to look like. It is one of those drafts where, bless our luck, you have to really indulge in a little make-believe to find even a few "can't miss" generational type talents. What is frightening is that is on both sides of the football.

All I have seen from the "Pro QB" posters is that taking a QB at four is all but taking it for granted that one of them that will be available that has a qualifying grade to be selected that high.

That does not stop the "No QB" crowd from pretending that people are saying at "all costs" and taking some slob like Connor Cook at 4.

If we do not have a good enough grade on Goff or Wentz, then move on. And honestly, avoid the position for the rest of the draft.

If "wasting" the 4th pick in the draft on a backup is bad, so is wasting a 2nd, 3rd or 4th round on a clearly inferior prospect. If we move past the potential franchise QBs for future, I am not in favor of selecting a QB at all, honestly.

Right, if you don't like the QBs it's a valid stance. I just don't see anyone pushing QB as the pick whether they feel there's a value there or not.

I may be totally wrong on Carson Wentz but I buy what he's selling hook, line and sinker. I think he's got the physical skills and mental makeup to become a star in the NFL and I want that to be in a Cowboys uniform. I don't want to go through years of bad QB play. Get that taken care of and then we can worry about a supporting cast around him.

I agree with you about how important a bell cow/play making RB is to this offense, defense, team. But even in that trade down scenario, Cowboys can take best defensive player and still be able to take a bell cow. Love Elliot, but Henry's size, speed and production is starting to grow on me too. Especially if he falls to the 2nd round as most are projecting.

I like Zeke more. But I definitely think Henry will be there in the second round.

Elliott is among the safest prospects in this draft. Henry is not some awful player, but he is definitely not nearly as well rounded.

If I am taking a back in the first round, they had better be able to not only run, but catch and block as well.
