You and your kin aren't going to be caught on a Skins board, yet there seems to be a lot of references to ES. So either you get it through osmosis, or a decent amount of people here spends time there.

Hey I admit I go to ES, I love good comedy

Do I need to remind you that he had 15 turnovers (for 6 TDs) the last 5 games??? Maybe that's why I'm slightly skeptical... But then again, completing two passes, according to asthmafield, means he's playing at hall-of-fame level.

He didnt have 15 turnovers in the last 5 games, see this is the comedy I was talking about, this and you avoiding the other thread like the plague

Tony Romo vs Washington's defense:

24/36 284 yards

2 TD 0 INT

Owens dropped a bomb TD right in his hands that would have iced that game and put those numbers even higher. That pass was right on the money. Consider yourselves lucky.

Also, Romo ran out of time before the half, or he would have put another TD on the board instead of 3 points.

Shaun Taylor better be ready, because that secondary is going to be attacked deep by Romo. Rodgers, Springs, and Smoot will need help covering Owens, Glenn, Crayton, Witten, and Fasano. Landry is a nice edition. He hits hard, and he is fast. However, he has trouble with the deep ball. You better hope Rodgers turns into a shut-down corner, because if he doesn't, Taylor is toast when you play Dallas. The Commanders don't have the DEs to rush the passer, so you will be blitzing a ton, but that is nothing new. You better get there or quarterbacks like Romo will eat that defense alive. The Commanders' DTs are weak. Stopping the run might be a problem. Jerry won Big Leonard, so now some of your interior lineman and linebackers are going to get punished by him, big time. He is huge, powerful, and he can run and pull. Just think Shaun Andrews.

As far as your o-line goes, Samuels is one of the best. However, Ware will be lurking this year with two years under his belt, and his friends will be attacking. Gone are the days of your quarterback having all day to throw the ball like Brunnell had during the last two games in Washington. Our DL is going to stunt, loop, and slant this year as you know. Hatcher and Ratliff could all start for your team. The DL, along with Roy Williams and the inside linebackers, is going to open lanes for Ware to get even more sacks this year. The increased pressure should benefit the Dallas secondary. The corners are used to covering all day, so they probably won't know what to think when the QB is rushed.

Jason Campbell throws a nice deep ball, but Terence Newman will draw Moss again. Campbell needs the deep ball to be effective. It was his bread and butter at Auburn. I know he can throw deep, but can he make the intermediate throws in tight coverage like Romo can? Ken Hamlin is much better than Keith Davis. We have helped our deep coverage significantly. One last thing about Campbell, he is going to see a ton of different defensive looks from Dallas, because we play you in November. Can he hold up mentally against the Phillips' 34?

If Newman shuts down Moss again and Carpenter, Burnett, or Hamlin lock down Cooley, your in trouble. Dockery was very good in the run game. Who can step in and play as good as him? Jansen is getting up there in age. He will be attacked by Spears, Hatcher, Spencer, and maybe Ellis. Portis is having knee problems. He has a lot of mileage on him. When will he break down again? Betts is impressive. The Commanders like to pull their guards and run Gibbs' favorite play. I remember Dockery being good at this. Can your guards hold up on this staple play? They will be attacked by Dallas very aggressively this year. I can see Spears and Canty busting this play all to pieces.

I hope Dallas can add another bowing m&m man soon. Then, we will have them 2-1 in Super Bowls.

haha before we start predicting super bowls for this team, this year lets at least see them play a preseason game or something... maybe even a few regular season games...

From what I'm hearing Campbell is coming along pretty good now that St. Gibbs drew pictures for him with Crayons...

Crayons really? I heard they used a LightBright.

Dallas has won 5 Super Bowls. Washington has won 3.

No, Washington has only won 1 legit SuperBowl. The other two were not full seasons. 1982 was a strike season which limited the playing field. Again in 1987 there was a strike shortened season. So from this point forward you must sign those superbowls with an asterisk like so.

Commanders SuperBowls
  • 1982*
  • 1987*
  • 1991

As my neighbor told my brother when he only mowed his front yard and not the back, "You don't get paid for only doing half the job." :lmao2:

Hey firehawk....

From Wade Phillips himself

Things have gone well so far. We've had good practices and great support

You want to tell him he is wrong? Or shall I?

LOL....

Overall participation of players??? Eh, you are missing your two starting tackles. Your fourth round draft pick and one of your back-up ILBs. Not great...

Installation of new players/schemes? How do you know if they are being picked up yet, unless you know the play on that particular drill? Coaching interaction with players? Just because it's a friendly atmosphere doesn't mean the coaches are interacting well with the players.

Anyways, your just guessing as to the state of those two things. You "hope" you are doing well in those things, but you just don't know.

Would you just shut up and leave?:D

whats up cowboy fans, with your team having to learn a new offense and new defense..do you really think your team will be the best they can be this season? And how long do you think it will take for your team to get comfortable?

Basically the same so it won't take long to adjust. We can still be winnig though while making those adjustments. Just because a team makes changes doesn't automatically mean they will lose.

From a Commanders perspective, I think it does. They make wholesale changes every year...................

And they still lose!

:lmao:

Actually, Jason Campbell seems to be doing decently.

HA! "Decently?" Then it sounds like has already maxed out his ability if he is up to "decent".

In reality, the guy sucks. He is Quincy Carter redux: lots of athletic potential, less accurate than some high school qbs. He even wears 17 just like QC. Have fun with that!

Couple your doomed to be mediocre QB with no LG, NO DL, and crappy WR corps, your team should be sitting pretty next draft, as well!

Yep.

And what is hilarious is their only retort is: we beat you twice in the playoffs!

Ok, if my options are to have the above or beat the Skins twice in the playoffs, I'll take the above thank you.

The pathetic Commanders cling to the only stat they can find that matches them up with us.

What's amazing is how obsessed they are with us--far more than our fanbase cares about them. Success breeds jealousy.
