Witten & Ware Updates

This season:

Ware -- 12 sacks
Rest of the team combined -- 9 sacks

Some of those were unblocked/scheme. And some more were probably aided by Ware being doubled and tripled.

...wonders if rating the thread five stars will cause further butthurtedness...

:D

I decided not to ignore you and instead laugh at you, it's working out pretty well so far. Can you do us all a favor please? Make a list of all approved thread topics and how soon after a win or loss we are allowed to make them. This way we'll all know what to do.

I don't tell people what to post. Nor do I imperiously lock threads to spare myself embarrassment when certain gameday predictions fail to come true. When your highest priority is posting trivial personal stats minutes after a devastating loss, you got problems.

The marshmallow and rainbow posters annoy me as much as anyone and I don't understand your indignation bb. This thread has no real bearing on what happened in the game one way or the other, other than where Witten and Ware now stand in the given statistical categories. He just posted the same stats he's been posting after every game this year.

Also, in hostile's defense, he didnt lock any of those threads.

Sure seems like you tell them what to post to me. I think you are very clearly the one with problems.

Of course I can, but if you think I care what you are in the mood for, you've got another think coming.

Tony Romo also passed Don Meredith for 4th on the Cowboys all time pass attempts list. Choke on another stat.

I criticize the team quite often. Not my fault you're blind to it. Must be the tears.

Since you said often, I challenge you to find a post, within the last year, where you are critical of the product that this organization has put on the field.

I saw one within the last day or two where he brought up not agreeing with hiring Switzer or Ryan plus a bunch of other stuff he did not agree with.

This organization is trying to field a quality product, whether or not they succeed at it is irrelevant to how much they wish to do so.

We're all aware of the broken pieces, acknowledging the non broken ones and not dwelling on the obvious does not mean people are not critical. It means we realize those things need to be fixed but have not been yet.

Hostile posted today about poor tackling last night.

I don't believe that he posted these updates minutes after the losses to the Jets, Rams and Pats. I sure hope not at any rate. Last night's tone deafness was bad enough.

Never said he did. A fellow mod could have been responsible. That said, the "Vick will get hurt" and "onside kick/trick play" threads did not deserve to be prematurely closed. The humane soul who did so spared him a licking.

Hostile posted today about how awful our tackling is

Like I said, make us a list of what we can post and when.

Not sure about the others but I do remember him posting it right after the Rams game last week...

Again, I just think he's being unfairly attacked in this instance.

As much of a licking as one can get on an annoymous message board

No thanks. Unlike some people here, I don't have censorious impulses. Post whatever you want, and if I find it inane, I'll react accordingly.

As soon as every game is over I go to the threads in the History Zone and the Calendar and I update every post. That includes Romo's yards, TDs, attempts, and completions, Ware's sacks, Witten's catches and yardage.

As soon as those are done I begin researching where those 2 players are in relation to the all time records I have been updating. If there is any kind of delay at all in my posting that information it would only exist if one of the other active players was not done for the day.

I have been doing this all year and I have no intention of stopping, win or lose, and I do not care how egregious you think it is. Let me explain to you how much your opinion on this topic matters to me and how much "guilt" you are laying on me.

Fill a bucket with water. Place your hand in it and touch the bottom. Now pull your hand out of the water. Look back at the bucket of water. The hole left in the water is how much I care about your opinions on these threads and how much "guilt" I am feeling about posting them.

Anybody else those threads get left up, for that person to get roasted.

By crying about it without a single valid point like you're doing here? Man up and just tell us all what we should post and give us the exact timeline of when we should do it since you obviously know best.

This has been an ongoing thread and has nothing to do with wins or losses. It's simply tracking progress of two players in the history of the game. I'm pretty sure every great player has lost a game and probably has been in a blowout. It has nothing to do with their individual performance.
