Witten & Ware Updates

Right. Because we're actually running the "ButtKickZone" and the "CallOutZone" here. How could I ever forget - its all about who thumps their chest harder.

Close. You're running the "ProtectHosAtAllCostsZone." Last time I checked, getting "called out" for bad predictions is not a guideline violation. It's called facing the music like a man.

Yes, Virginia, there's a difference between telling someone to shut up and asking them to delay their post a day or two. Etiquette is not just for fancy dinners.

I'm not saying I disagree with you in principle, but your principle doesnt apply to what he posted. Posting sunshine after a 4 TD beating IS annoying, but he didnt do that.

I wonder if you would be jumping down the throat of someone who posted something negative after a big win, or even just something that could be perceived as negative?

Oh sorry, then delay your post for a day or two already. I did not mean to offend someone as polite and innocent as you.

Hell no he wouldn't. He admires those people.

But what does it matter when he posted it? His post had no bearing on the game at all. Hell, what if Ware had no sacks and his numbers were the same as the last time he posted these last week? Would he have been on your side for posting something that could be perceived as negative?

You just answered your own question. If it was trivial and had no bearing on the game, why post it?

How would you know?

Kind of a classic CZ thread. Everyone playing their roles.

What do you guys think about Scandrick starting on the other side this time in place of Jenkins?

I think Jenkins has been very good this year so I'm not thrilled about it. I think Scandy is playing pretty good too other than last night. So I think we'll be OK against Seattle. Walker and Ball have played well too.

My concern is all on the pass rush and inside linebackers right now.

The threads about Hostile(not bumped lol ones) dont seem to get closed until hes got his fix of attention. Isnt this thread off topic?

It's called common sense. Would you hit on a widow at a funeral? Of course not. Why? Not the time or place.

Last time I checked it was CowboysZone.

How foolish of me. I must have really been protecting Hostile at all costs when I vehemently disagreed with him over our CB situation all off-season long.

Oh wait - that doesn't match your clear, yet illogical and baseless agenda. Or do I need to wait 2 days to post this too?

I don't want your attention. Your opinions mean nothing to me at all.

Because he promised to update those stats after every game and a lot of interest was shown when he posted them in the past. People obviously cared, and he is in a position on this board where he is expected to keep up with things like that.

I just think you're upset over the loss and lashing out at him for posting something that wasnt full-blown burn down the franchise type stuff. I know the feeling, trust me, I lashed out last night and got a one day ban. However, I can at least take solace in knowing I directed my posts towards people blindly defending that performance. You're angry about Hostile posting stats, stats that are almost entirely independent of the final score. Hell, he actually posted some negative opinions today, much moreso than many others that have avoided your e-wrath.

What? So now we are to add that only post's relevant to the game may be posted within 48 hours? So I guess all these threads about if Lee or Scandrick will play next week should wait 48 hours as well?

Whether they play next week or not has no baring on last nights game after all.

Why don't I see you in the thread about Choice joining the Commanders screaming bloody murder about it not having bearing on the game???

You really do need to post a thorough rule book because this is getting confusing.

Um, may I post a non-relevant thread if it's a full moon and I'm wearing black?

Or am I only not allowed to do it if I'm a mod who's name begins with H?

Lemme guess: you closed one of those threads, right? As an aspiring barrister, the phrase "conflict of interest" should mean something to you.

That depends on whose playing the part of the widow :)
