Today got me thinking of the best players who were also the best people to come through DFW.

I could only come up with three more.

Dirk Nowitzki
Roger Staubach
Michael Young

You hear the same things about those four guys.

Mike Modano
hes iffy because he was on team we inherited we didnt draft him so even know he means that much to the stars and we don't have many to be picky about..I met him when he had that cast on his hand back in the day in local bar..cool dude..

Yeah, after posting it, it occurred to me he's not quite on Witten's level, but still, he will likely always be my favorite Dallas Star of all time.

He did embrace Dallas. He was like an adopted child, we loved him just the same.

Chuck Norris was showing Witten how fast he was. So he flipped off the light switch and tried to jump into bed before the lights were out. He couldn't. Witten was there first. Without his helmet.

He's the Tim Duncan of the NFL (without the rings). Humor me. Lived most of my life in San Antonio.

To be honest, pretty sure there are dozens coz we simply don't/didn't know the people/personal side of so many.
