I agree. Romo has proven to be good enough to have us in it til the end of regular season. As long as we are "relative" then Jerry can keep trying to sell the "anything is possible" line, try to keep the critics at bay and the fans lining up at the turnstiles. Also keep him from having to go through a QB search like he so failed at when Aikman retired.

Being 8-8 and mediocre is the worst case. Jerry can keep from selling hope that we are sooo close and can keep from making any significant changes. And on top of it, it keeps us in the middle portion of the draft where we aren't going to find the top quality talent. Just an endless cycle of mediocrity while Jerry plays GM.

And I didn't think you were a troll for posting your opinion. Again, I think you're good for a light hearted laugh in what's going to be a long off-season. I think you're trolling because you purposely say inflammatory things, like calling those who were proven right, ignorant just to get a rise out of them and provoke an emotional response (definition of troll). I think you need to apologize to those folks and ask them for their opinion before you post yours, this way the odds are better that you'll at least be accurate.

One more note on Campo and Garrett. If Campo had Romo while Garrett had Campo's QB's, not only would the records likely be swapped, but Garrett's offense wouldn't be anywhere near 4th in the league in scoring. Can you just imagine the pass happy Garrett offense with Clint Stoerner, Anthony Wright, Ryan Leaf, Chad Hutchinson, etc.?
