No way. The way they played that 2nd half is what im used to see. Long kicks and quick counters. That 2nd half was amazing by both teams. Best game of the world cup so far
 
Wow, great world cup so far, no ties, 3 or more goals in every game except one.
It's been a joy to watch.
 
Is it just me, or has there been a strangely large amount of games this year that actually had, you know, a winner and a loser?
 
Really looking forward to this game. Think Bosnia are going to be the surprise package of the tournament, have bet 3-2 Argentina tonight though

Messi was pressing early. Tried to create too much on his own instead of playing some easy passes resulted in some early turnovers. He seemed more relaxed in the second half and that goal was a thing of beauty. Classic Messi type goal.

lots of great soccer.
not sure how teams will fare in the extreme humidity but the end of the england/italy game was terrible.
hopefully thats not what we'll see from every game in that swampland.
england couldn't kick the ball anywhere near goal.
it was really bad.
except Pirlo.. good grief is that dude is good.
and it's not athleticism just all soccer IQ and technical accuracy.
he can play til he's 50.

today messi was used as a holding ** almost in that first half... very strange.
2nd half he was normal MEssi and game was really not close that half.
argentina is a scary out.
 
Thanks to my family and how I was raised, I have an enormous amount of pride in my country. IMO, the US is the greatest country on Earth, with Texas being the greatest stretch of land on the planet.......So, it comes easy for me to pick the US to win the World Cup. I will not removed my Star Spangled Goggles. Are we the favorites, not even close.....but once we win our group, we will then go forward and take it all.....

You could put Pirlo in the midfield with a lawn chair and that guy could dictate the game.

He is 2 moves ahead of everyone on the pitch.

I wish I could watch more Serie A games in the United States.

IS there anyway to buy an online season pass or anything like that? Juventus has so many players that I want to watch play and I never get to see them.


I wish the USA got more Serie A and Bundesliga matches + champions league.

I think the winner of USA Ghana gets out of the group.


If we don't do anything stupid in the midfield I think we'll win. (i'm looking at Jermaine Jones when I say that)
 
Portugal might stumble but I wouldn't count on it. Germany will beat both the US and Ghana. Even if they have nothing to play for in the last game the Germans won't let up. The US best shot would be a German and US win today followed by an upset over Portugal that's really the only way I see them going through

Italia can easily win this tournament. Stop believing that no European country can win it in Brazil. Holland can easily lift that trophy also. Germany, Spain are going out.

Very much like Chelsea this year under Mourinho. Defend and outwork teams.

Donovan was always one of my favorite players so it sucks he missed the cut but I respect Klinnsman enough to not doubt the move.
Donovan hasn't been as good lately and it seldom helps to take a lot of age to the WC.
The US is loaded with kids but that makes sense considering they are hardly favorites.
Experience for 4 years form now matters more than rewarding old guys.
Sadly, Donovan, needed to be cut unless he was first team.

Too much age? No they have brought a fairly young team. They are ranked 22 of 32 teams for age. Watch out for their young players in this tournament.

online woud be your best bet. So many sites with steaming of games every weekend.

I think 4 points will be enough to get the 2nd place team through the group.

I expect Germany to get at least 6. I expect whoever finishes 2nd will have 4 points.


If Portugal beats Germany somehow then my USA - Ghana theory goes out the window and I think Portugal and Germany get through.
