Highly doubt it. Brazil and Germany will be out. Both overrated.

Brazil is overrated but they have a cake walk schedule.

I gotta say.. I was impressed with France yesterday. They looked very comfortable passing the ball around the pitch and creating chances.

This tourney is wide open though. Chile and Colombia looked really good as a team.

Belgium is a team that also have an easy schedule and if they find a groove then they could be scarry.

You could put Pirlo in the midfield with a lawn chair and that guy could dictate the game.

He is 2 moves ahead of everyone on the pitch.

I wish I could watch more Serie A games in the United States.

IS there anyway to buy an online season pass or anything like that? Juventus has so many players that I want to watch play and I never get to see them.

I wish the USA got more Serie A and Bundesliga matches + champions league.

i get a few games but honestly watch mostly EPL since that's on every weekend of the season.
BEIN sports has a lot of good options but hard to find it consistently.

Brazil is great everywhere but at the number 10(crazy for Brazil huh?) and at GK.
The GK may cost them a Cup.

I have them over Belgium in the Finals but basically any top 8 side will have a GK edge on Brazil imho.

That ** with Oscar/Naymar and the Back 4 though....
They haven't even used Willian yet and he is arguably more effective than Oscar at Chelsea if only due to crazy work rate.

Wide open tournament with excellent football. Many teams could take home the hardware.

BeIN Sports shows a lot of Serie A games. FOX shows all the Champions League games spread out over their various sports channels(Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Fox Soccer Plus, etc.).

i have absolutely NO IDEA why people thought Portugal was some powerhouse...they are nothing and they are showing that today...

USA could not have asked for a better start to this day

He didn't say better. He said more effective and included with Chelsea. I agree. In the way Mourinho ran Chelsea last season Willian was probably more effective in that system for the Blues than Oscar. I don't think the same will apply in the new season or applies to Brazil in the World Cup. Different situations.

Completely agree.

Its mostly a result of the ESPN Ronaldo hype machine. After him, they don't have anything special.

This Mexixo-Brazil matchup is going to be good. This is the generation that Mexico has had their their number since the u17 world cup. Then the olympics where they beat this same team for the gold. Mexico has had some tough times since the olympics. Dos Santos seems to have found his overall game. Most of Mex problems seem to be coaching, theyre not willing to spend big money on coaches.

no worries but yup Oscar wore down as the season went along for Chelsea.
to start the year he was even better than Hazard.
the last 15 or so games tho he was dead tired and sat a lot.

he was the best player on the pitch for Brazil to kick off the cup tho imho.

was mostly making a point that Brazil is pathetically deep enough to have Willian and Ramirez on the bench.
outside spain/germany other teams don't have that kind of depth.
