Klose is the only striker they brought.


I think they will try to use a false 9 with Gotze or Kroos like Spain did with Fabregas and if they need a goal they will bring on Klose and throw the ball in the box and see if he can get on the end of one of those passes.

Portugal is very beatable.

Germany on paper is the clear cut favorite but I have seen nothing with this group of Germans to be confident that they will dominate this group.

I think the winner of Ghana USA will probably make it out of the group. Portugal, even with Ronaldo, will not make it out of the group.

i still have portugal coming out of the group..but you are correct, they are absolutely beatable...they arent that good...but they are better than the other 2 teams in the group...not named germany

yeah, he didnt hit it good...he miss hit the ball..meaning he didnt hit it the way he wanted and it was luck that it went by the keeper..

He did grab him and likely would be a foul out of the box but yeah probably could have let it go

Think Croatia will be feeling robbed, the Brazil penalty, the penalty claim they had and the disallowed goal not to mention Neymar could very easily have been off rather than booked.

Terrible call. I wonder if it keeps the ref from working any more games? Brazil did not look impressive. Always hard to judge any team off of the first game. Things can change during the rest of the group stage. If they don't play better they won't beat any of the other contending teams with that type of performance. Julio Cesar looks like a liability back in goal. Glad the games are finally going. Should be a nice weekend.
