How bout them Astros! :starspin::clap:

Just messin with ya, my friend. But hey, what a hell of a game, eh? They both deserved to win! And I thought the Dodgers had it for a while. Can't wait for next game. This is very intense! Hell yeah! The way it's supposed to be.

Luckily, I dont have any investment in either team, I can sit back and enjoy it without any stress :flagwave:

Honestly, I have to say that there are so many players that I have seen in this playoff series that I wish were Astros. I have several favorite players from the road here, and the Dodgers are no exception. So excited to see what these two teams have to give. Every player that steps on the field deserves to be here, and so do several that are not here that I have seen. Just a great giving of everything from everyone on each team that has been in this run for the World Series. Awesome Baseball!

You know, its funny, Dex. I thought that, too. But I was wrong. I am SO INTO these games!! You know, we can't even watch regular Astros baseball here in the Houston area, unless they are in the playoffs. DishNetwork contract apparently, ppfftt. So, I didn't think I would even care. But hot damm, I care so much! I remember back in the 70s and the 80s when I used to scream for them, and we actually went to an Astros game at the Astrodome in '89. All those old feelings just have come rushing back, and I DO care. And I DO wish that we could see the regular season games. I heard this is one of their best regular seasons, if not the best, ever. And we missed it, because we can't see it. It is a real shame. :thumbdown:

Ok that was one helluva rollercoaster ride. I have to admit, I turned it off down 3-1 in the 7th, to play with my daughter. I conceded the game. But my curiosity made me check my phone....3-2, then 3-3......then I was afraid to watch again out of superstition.....I watched anyway......on Cloud 9 after 2 HRs....then hating life and giles after they tied. Then back 2 cloud 9 after I said Springer needed a HR, and he hit one....but scared cause only up 2. Then, the hr to scare me....but the Puig strike out was far more relief, then excitement. The cardiac Astros won their 1st WS game in epic fashion.

Now onto Houston....Go Astros

My wife sounds like you. Used to watch all of the time but hasn't watched much in the last 15 years or so. She is into it now, WS hype will do that though.

I have been a Mets fan forever, so whether the Astros win or lose won't effect me at all :D

The Dodger manager mishandled the pitchers. Aside from pulling the starter too early, he shouldn't ask his closer to go two innings this early. That might have ruined him for the series.

Mishandled pitchers... it’s debateable. The outcome was decided late.

The great Mariano Rivera said it best... “it’s my job, 1 inning, 1 batter, 2 innings, 6 batters”

Bottom line: the end of the game was in sight. Blown save!

If he is ruined for Series, which I don’t think he is, it’s because he blew the save not because of throwing a few extra pitches....
