It's kinda embarrassing that people mention this like they have a financial stake in the Cowboys.

Not any more embarrassing than fans mentioning how proud they are of Jerry Jones' accomplishments in keeping team fiscally prosperous.

I do not care a single bit about how much money he makes and how rich he is getting off of the brand. The product on the field is the only thing that anyone should base their pride upon.

Ive never heard Jerry be accused of not making changes. I suppose when every armchair fan general manager wants a kneejerk reaction.

Grass is not always greener. Ralph Wilson of the Bills up here, pockets every last dollar from parking to concessions. Then he wants the city to pay for everything else. And they either let every good player walk or just plane suck forever.

They let Jason Peters walk.
They let Marshawn Lynch walk.
They let SanFrans safety walk (his name escapes me and I'm to lazy to look it up)

His family lives out of town and have made it known they are waiting for him to pass so they can sell sell sell.

How would you like to wake up to that reality every day?

Bills fans won't be waking up to that much longer, Wilson is in his 90's. They can stll have hope things will change. What's the hope Jerry the owner will fire Jerry the GM?

And leaving aside the fact that he would be firing himself, how is it possible to have a mediocre to bad GM for 20 years and make no change and the owner is still considered "great". Well other than that, the Jerry defenders say. Other than that? Really? That's the only job directly related to football and owner has (or should have). If you get an F on that how do you still get an A on your report card?

It's like an owner of an airline with a high crash rate. "Yeah but other than that he's a great owner, the planes are always full and the company's making a ton of money".

Dang, this is such a hard question to answer, damned if you do, damned if you don't. Can I pass on them both?
