Yes it did. We see these threads Every. Single. Week.

We are 11-1 and clearly the best team in the NFC and all I see is how scared people are of average teams well below us. This tuck your tail between your legs mentality of so many is weak. These teams should fear playing us in our own stadium, not the other way around.

There is no worst team to meet. Everyone we meet will be a tier below us.

He even mentioned that he felt Dallas was the scariest team in his post, so he obviously does not feel that he should be scared of a team. I don't read you post and even remotely think you read his original post honestly. Seems that you read the title and came in to blast him.. It was pretty basic for anyone that cared to read it

You like what you have seen, and don't feel short changed with projections of the remainder of the regular season...nothing wrong with that view, my friend.

I've read a lot about which teams we would prefer to meet in the playoffs at each level.

Who do you think these other NFC prefer not to meet? Those hoping their AFC team makes the superbowl... surely they have a preferred opponent as well. Does anyone want to face the Cowboys ?

Is there any team out there that thinks the Cowboys are the team they match up the best against?

Surely we are the scariest team out there right now. Opinions?

Edited to add: I must have worded this poorly! I'm not asking who WE are afraid to meet. I'm asking, are WE not the team that everyone else is afraid to meet?
You have to go through the best to win it all, so there really shouldn't be a concern on when you meet (beat:)) them.

I think it's the Commanders .....

Commanders just have so many good players to cover with no pass rush - we saw yesterday what a pass rush can do to them.

Seattle - best all-around
Giants -1 big threat
Atlanta - 1 big threat although a lot of smaller ones
Detroit - Stafford always hurts us
Tampa - I just think Winston is too immature to handle it

You need to go back and read the initial post. The OP is turning the usual question on its head. He's not asking which team is the "worst team to meet" from the Cowboys' perspective. He's asking whether there's any team that wouldn't view the Cowboys as the worst team to meet.

To answer the OP's question, my guess is that most other NFC playoff teams would view the Seahawks, not the Cowboys, as the scariest playoff match-up.

I don't want any part of divisional rivals in the post season.

Those games are just wild and unpredictable.

Everyone else I think we can beat if we play our best.

Agree. More fluke plays tend to occur with Divisional rivals that tilt games... Giants prime example ( ball off Wittens leg)

Seahawks have to be it, as they have won the big one, and played in more pressure packed playoff games.

To me whatever we do this year is a plus as we are coming off 4-12, and know we have D needs to address... That said Go Cowboys all the way.....

Are we going to change our style of play or something? If not nobody is going to put 40 on us.

The scary Commanders had a whole 6 points before the 4th quarter.. I don't get why you guys are so scared of them.
The scary Commanders missed two field goals and still hung 26. A different play here and there and they're pretty close to 40. I mean, did you even watch the Commanders game? Kirk Cousins had his way with our defense and they're not going to get worse over night.

And I didn't say I'm scared of them. But it's dumb to not acknowledge the utter flaws on this defense and realize that, if the offense is bad for 1 quarter and puts us in a hole, we could be in a lot of trouble. This team isn't built to win from behind against competent offenses.

And beating a team 3 times is hard. 20 times a team has gone 2-0 against a division team and played in the playoffs. They're only 13-7 in those games. Look what happened when we played the Giants in 07.

Got to love the fan responses telling other fans to not be afraid of other teams and to not discuss issues like who would you rather avoid in the playoffs, as if it had anything to do with what was actually going to happen.

If you have a problem with people discussing relevant issues as fans, why are you on this board?

We beat them twice and we'd beat them again.

We beat that same team with Kellen Moore.

They may flash but they lack substance. Throwing the ball 50 times a game is a good recipe to lose. They're probably not even going to make the playoffs but they have Cowboyszone trembling for some reason.

As far as this defense goes.. I acknowledge their flaws and I acknowledge they accomplish what they set out to do which is keep point totals low.

I also acknowledge possession of the football is a form of defense admit it or not and we are the best in the league at possessing the ball.

Seattle may have lost Earl Thomas for some time based on his injury last night.
The Seahawks offensive line is awful, and they've been losing backs left and right.
They're not as strong as they've been in the past.

And when you can't possess the ball, you can't put teams away. In one playoff game, if our run game doesn't work, then there is a ton of pressure on the defense. You think they're going to slow down Atlanta if they have to be on the field for 30 minutes? The Vikes have one of the worst offenses in the league and still owned TOP.

Well you could say when Denver doesn't rush the passer well they can't stop the pass well. If their pass rush doesn't work.

Atlanta gives up 28 points per game. Bottom of the league.. Does their defense not play too?

The Vikings have no offense. Salary cap football. The perfect NFL team doesn't exist. The key is minimizing your weakness and Dallas does that with a style of defense that doesn't give up TD's and a style of offense that imposes it's will.

Atlanta are pretenders, IMO. And Seattle just lost their best defensive player for the year.

Edit -- DET are VERY legit @JaBoy, as well as TB
When is the last time Stafford beat a team with a winning record? Yes. Serious question
