Would loss to Giants get Garrett fired?

Firing a coach mid-season when his team is in first place in the division and 11-5 in the previous 16 regular season games is what would be unfathomable. Especially when there’s no obviously capable candidate for interim coach.

Absolutely no chance he gets fired this season. He'll be in dallas another 3-5 years for sure

If the Cowboys were to lose to the Giants, it is unfathomable that JG wouldn't be fired immediately.
Losing to both the Jets and Giants, as heavy favorites in both, would be inexcusable regardless of circumstances.
:lmao::lmao2:

Not a chance! They could beat us 100-0 and JG coaches at least til the end of the season.
I have no illusion that this game will be easy or that we will come off a bye ready to play.
JGs seat got hot by turning in a typical egg against a winless team but then as usual he comes back with a good game. He does just barely enough to remain.
Could see us losing to NY and coming back to beat the Pats or Vikings.

No. And he shouldn't. You don't fire a coach in first place mid-season.

I say that as one of the biggest Garrett critics around. Anything less than making the Super Bowl this year, I hope he gets canned.

I don't think Garrett will get fired unless we end up with a losing regular season record. Some coordinators would be bobbing along in his wake as well. I hope he and the team succeed the rest of the way and we end up going deep into the post season.

I really don't get the feeling that Garrett is going anywhere, no matter what happens this season.

I think the Jets game already has...unless something miraculous happens.

He aint getting fired midseason...……………..now if we dont make the playoffs...…………..I would say its 50/50

Now losing to the Giants will significantly reduce our chances of winning the division and making the playoffs, so in a way a loss to the Giants might get him fired later, but not right now.
