Not even remotely possible. Cowboys at worst would still be in 1st place (tied or outright). Jerry will not fire a coach if the team is in position to make a postseason run.

A loss vs. the Giants certainly wouldn't do him any good -- let's put it that way. Continued losses throughout the remainder of this season's games would only compound the likelihood of the Dallas FO considering whether or not to make dramatic changes to their coaching staff during the offseason. I can't say as I'd be opposed to that, if things end up going poorly enough in the games that remain -- in fact, I'd likely welcome it. This good game, bad game schtick we've been tolerating for so many years is for the birds!
A long overdue return to consistently winning ways would be a true blessing and then some!

No. I believe the victory over the Eagles reset the conditions for firing Jason Garrett inside Jerry Jones' mind, with one of the conditions being a consecutive five-to-seven game losing streak. As of today, a projected subsequent loss to the Bills would partially get Jones to strongly entertain the idea.
