Would loss to Giants get Garrett fired?

If the Cowboys were to lose to the Giants, it is unfathomable that JG wouldn't be fired immediately.
Losing to both the Jets and Giants, as heavy favorites in both, would be inexcusable regardless of circumstances.

If the answer was yes what team would you root for on Monday?

Not even remotely possible. Cowboys at worst would still be in 1st place (tied or outright). Jerry will not fire a coach if the team is in position to make a postseason run.

Does not matter. Team would still be in 1st place and they would be 3-1 in the division.

A loss vs. the Giants certainly wouldn't do him any good -- let's put it that way. Continued losses throughout the remainder of this season's games would only compound the likelihood of the Dallas FO considering whether or not to make dramatic changes to their coaching staff during the offseason. I can't say as I'd be opposed to that, if things end up going poorly enough in the games that remain -- in fact, I'd likely welcome it. This good game, bad game schtick we've been tolerating for so many years is for the birds!
A long overdue return to consistently winning ways would be a true blessing and then some!

In my opinion? No. I believe the victory over the Eagles reset the conditions for firing Jason Garrett inside Jerry Jones' mind, with one of the conditions being a consecutive five-to-seven game losing streak. As of today, a projected subsequent loss to the Bills would partially get Jones to strongly entertain the idea.

If losing to the Jets isn't enough to get him fired, a loss to the Giants certainly won't do that.

The only time Garrett is going to get fired (if he even does) is going to be at the end of the season, unfortunately.

This record and this crappy division practically guarantees relevance to the end of the season.

Therefore, no chance Garrett is fired during the year.

whatever happens unless the team just totally quits he will finish out the season in dallas if they don't make the playoffs he may still even stay jerry is not really worried about winning its about his comfort level and being relevant in the news to have high expectations for this jones cowboys team in this era is something that will just get u really disappointed
