I wouldn't even entertain the thought for a second. Polamalu had a good run of a few games last year when he made plays at got a lot of attention, but Roy is a better player and a much bigger playmaker.

I love Palamalu and recognize him as a great Safety, but I would not trade Roy Williams for him...we'd be in the exact same position we are in now...we'd have a SS who might be a tiny bit better in coverage, a little quicker, but not the explosive player Roy is...yet we'd still be pairing him with a weak FS and scheme that would allow teams to exploit his weaknesses just as is happening with Roy.

Palamalu is a very good safety, and those who diss him as their way of supporting Roy are wrong...but he's not better than Roy...he's just playing on defense that allows him to play to his strengths...and he still gets beaten from time to time.

I was just asking hypotherically due too us running the 3-4.Troy is way faster and is on every pass and run play.Roy is great close to the line,otherwise he is lost,and thats obvious.

you obviously havent seen anything other than some highlight plays...Polomalu is not "on every pass and run play"

I've seen plenty of plays where he got burned, but he doesnt play for us so nobody ever says anything about it

I think people need to expand their horizons and start watching more than 1 game of week.

RW is the man. There isnt another SS in the league I would rather have.

Anyone who thinks these other guys would do a better job havent watched enough of these other guys.
