Think about it, everyone around this guy gets canned and he comes out squeaky clean. Wade, Ryan, etc....all gone while JG is the the Judas whispering in Jerry's ear. The guy is a weasel. People like to talk about how the one constant the last 16 years has been the GM...Jerry. True. But the one constant ignored the last 6 years has been JG. He is just as much a part of the losing culture as anyone...if not more..and yet he comes out clean in all of these messes. I don't get it. This isn't a case where we have an offense doing its job and the D letting them down. This is a case of a team wide failure that hasn't been fixed. If I were someone coming in to coach, I'd definitely have this in the back of my mind.....how long before I get thrown under the bus?

Depends on what other offers are available. And how bad the guy wants/needs a job.

Yet even in spite of Jones' love for Garrett, another missed playoffs in 2013 is probably it for Garrett, so any coach is going to take that in consideration when weighing an offer from Dallas.

I'll add that Cam Cameron, for example, is a guy associate with Jason who fits into that profile that I'd not want to see here.

I think they probably bought in on a 3 year rebuilding plan and think that they got behind schedule this season.

I know this isn't the whole quote, but I 100% agree with this. Jerry hasn't just randomly been throwing around that "Should have given Chan three years" thought. He put that out there so people would be aware that two years of Garrett is too short in his mind.

I saw a picture the other day that I have to go see if it is real or not. It was a scene from back to the Future II, and the marquee on the movie theater behind Marty said Episode VII and Disney.

I think Judd Garrett has done an admirable job as pro personnel guy this year. I dont care if he's garretts brother, mother or both.

However John, imo, has systematically failed to develop Martellus Bennet,t John Phillips or before them Anthony Fasano(albeit for one brief year).

He should be judged like any other in the coaching staff, if he's not up to par he should be gone.
