Something to think about, his value goes beyond the field. His presence in the CB/safety room is just as valuable. In fact, I'd even offer his assistant coaching job.

He will be 34 by the time the season starts and plays a position that the wheels can fall off quickly. He already has lost some athleticisim and isnt “lockdown” anymore.

Also keep in mind, Daron Bland has shown hes a better outside guy.
Yes of course!

Yes. Hopefully the team and player can find a contract # that makes sense for both sides.

yeah. We need insurance for Diggs. Nobody comes back the way they were before with type of injury. We’ve seen it with Gallup and Steele.

Nashon Wright has regressed and Eric Scott is bust

Yes, I'd definitely try to bring Gilmore back. He's a technician at CB and I'm guessing he is passing on some wisdom in the DB room. That is invaluable. Plus, he isn't playing bad at all.

Gilmore might bring some coaching and mentorship with these younger DB guys along with his play. If that's the case I think it's important to bring him back for one more year. Everyone talks about Al Harris but I would think Gilmore has helped also.
