Would you make this trade?

Tunsil is still on the board at 4.

Tennessee calls and says they want to trade up to 4 and get their LT.

So:

Tennessee offers 1 (15), 2 (43), 2 (45)
Dallas offers 1 (4)

I make that trade in a heartbeat......4 picks in the top 45 is huge.

All day long.
win-win for both teams

Dallas could stay put at 15 and just cash in on a bunch of future starters--hopefully, if they drafted well.
Or if they wanted to, they would have plenty of picks to maneuver anywhere they wanted in the draft from there on out.

Tenn would get their top target in the whole draft and still have a bunch of extra picks from their 1st trade. Genius

I did a mock draft with this very scenario taking place.

If I were Ten and knows that Dallas really wants to move down my offer would be 1 (15), 2 (43) and my 3rd (64) for 4th pick.

Would you take that?

Well I'll play devils advocate and say it depends who else is on the board and how you grade each player. After this disaster of a season, us as fans deserve a player that we can build around, a player that can change the outcome of games and picking at 4 gives us a better chance than picking at 15. It is certainly nice to have multiple second round picks but there is no sure thing that you will hit on those players.

If the first three go Goff/Wentz/Ramsey in some order and no one in the top-10 is calling about trading up, then probably, yeah. Unfortunately, Elliot and Lynch will prolly be gone by #15.

I'd be leary about giving up a four. If Tennessee want him THAT bad, they'll let us keep our four.

I would say yes make that trade.
But also what players are you looking at us to get. Do,you think we could get 4 starters from that, or 1 starter and what hopes to be starters at some point.

What players are there, and who would they replace?

A 4th and a 2nd would play right away, unless one of those would be a QB.
Those extra 2 2nd rounders, how would they fit in.
Need to look and see what players would be there. I am not saying they wouldn't be worth it, as they would be.
But what impact would they have compared to the over a 4th overall.

If we do this, we gotta move backbup to 8 or so to get a premium player

I would prefer to stay in the top 10 but it is tempting. Two extra 2nds would be huge. Ah heck yeah I would do it.

No.

I want a QB and might trade up instead.

The only way you pass on that trade is if there is a QB at #4 that you want, otherwise there is no reason to pass on a deal.
