Would you rather have Elliott, or Aaron Jones GB rb?

Can I see what Zeke looks like in the same backfield with Rodgers before I decide?
Well no that isnt fair ! lol
but good point, I doubt jones would be doing much if dallas had him.
I admitted his runs last nite had to do with rodgers and scheme.
If rodgers saw he would be covered by a lb, he was going to throw to him.

And in both those seasons he lead the league in touches, yet was only 2nd in scrimmage yards. Bit scrimmage yards doesnt really have anything to do with what I said. We were talking about elite seasons by players, Zeke's had one.

Don't think anyone would argue a season with averaging 4.1 yards per carry, or having more fumbles than rushing TDs are elite at all.
Actually we were talking about Zeke vs Jones. Zeke has proved over his 3.5 seasons he is the better player than Jones in his 2.5 seasons. Jones has literally only had a couple of big days in his entire career, only broken 100 yds from scrimmage a handful of times. Jones has had zero elite level seasons. One good game doesn't mean he suddenly is a better player than Zeke.

Jones was a 5th round pick so packers are paying him peanuts, and of course our guy now gets
15 mil a year lol.
This guy Jones is impressive, In KC game last nite he was the difference, with 2 catches out of backfield
that he turned into long td runs.
Nobody could catch him.
As we saw against us, he can run thru the line and do the tough running too.
On top of that from what they said last nite , he is also a RKG type guy , no trouble off field, and highly motivated to be the best he can be.
So I for one would rather have him over elliot and it isnt even close.
He is a game changer and capable of big plays.

This is just for fun, as we are stuck with the feed me ewok boy (with the nose rings )

I would rather have Tevin Coleman. He would have been cheaper to sign than Elliott.

Plus he has break away speed. Elliott has lost his breakaway speed.

No you brought up Murray, Howard, Connor, etc in your initial post. I have no interest in cherry picked Jones stats.

But I think we do agree now, Zeke has had one elite season.

Well jones has a new hc, and in those 2 games he did really well , helped to win 2 games, so I would think he now has the
coaches looking at more ways to utilize him and more often.
I am curious to see how he does the rest of the season.

I never said jones was the better player , or the more durable player, or was elite, I just asked which one would you want right now.
Many seem to be obsessed with zeke, and blind to his flaws, and in awe of things like rushing champ, which is really a
meaningless title.

There are very few back who can handle even close to that load.
I'll agree with that. Durability is essentially the only thing that Zeke is elite at. It's a shame that that same durability actually hinders us on the scoreboard.

As it is a shame that your agenda prevents you from making meaningful contributions to this board.

Well as in my other post, it isnt about yards, it is about helping your team to win close games.
What did elliot do in the NO game which was close. what about the jets game?
Gb won because of the 2 long td runs by jones, I dont know how many yds he had, it does not matter.
Can he sustain it, I dont know, it really only matters for this season.
So far I can say he was main reason GB beat Dallas and KC, 2 good teams, and that is not something you can say about elliot.
If he can avoid injury, he will be a factor in playoffs I think, but you never know.
In the Packers loss to Philly he rushed 13 times for 21 yards, 1.9 average....... real game breaking stuff. His longest rush of the season is 18 yards. Those 2 "good" teams he beat were also missing starters on their DL, KC were missing their 2 best DL in Clark and Jones, so take it with a grain of salt. Jones is a good RB, but he isn't suddenly Zeke's equal or better.

It is what it is, some people are advanced enough to understand analytics. Others see 100 yards on 25 carries and claim MVP.

It's a shame we have so many like that in the second grouping on here. It'd be a much more informative board without you guys.

He doesn't face stacked boxes and if a must yard or 2 is needed, Elliott has the strength, speed & power to get it. Jones isn't very big, only 208 lbs.

I'll refer you to the Saints game. I lost track of how many 3rd and shorts Elliot couldn't convert. Say what you want about Aaron Jones, he looked like the better player when he took the field opposite Zeke.
