No way Jose, he is decent but so would a 3rd rounder. He looks great here because of what we have to compare him with. Also this is his first season being injury free… and we’re only halfway. Don’t get sucked in thinking he would be worth $4m-$5m per.

I invite you to review Dowdle's 2nd level run support.
If he is lucky enough to get through the LOS, there is virtually never blocking assistance down field, don't know if they are being hypersensitive vs holding calls, or just being lazy.

Emmitt had one of the best feet in the NFL on how he went through traffic and he had OUTSTANDING vision, where he saw the play develop way before it actually got there....

He has 2 tds receiving and would have some rushing if they didn't waste carries to Zeke. If Rico breaks one long run tomorrow, his yards per carry will spike higher.

I don’t think we cut anyone as good as Dowdle. I do think we cut guys better than Zeke. Instead of suspending Zeke, he should have been cut and not paid. Discipline is a huge issue on this team and Zeke is a part of that problem

Dowdle is avg 4.5 per carry. With a bad oline. He’s not a super star but he’s not a jag either

he is a Jag, 3rd string or 2nd string at best. he is not a difference maker and can't carry a team. that's what we need.

He's 26, low tread on the tires, well-rounded back w/ good work ethic. Maybe it's something to consider so we don't get into the offseason/draft with an empty RB room.
