For cheap. He's still a JAG RB IMO. 3 years 12 mil seems rich for a RB like Rico unless it's 80% non guaranteed.
All for drafting one in late day 2/ early 3(RIP 4th rounder) and finding another Alfred Morris(solid back that wasn't a scheme fit for a new coach) for cheap.

No, we need to get a couple of RBs better than Rico. K-Mart is going out of business for a reason.

Depends on how cheap he is. Otherwise, no. They need to draft at least two RBs next year. At least one of them needs to be in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Really doesn't matter what we do roster-wise so long as Jerry is GM.

Don’t see them doing that.

RB1 in the draft.

Who cares

That's like saying should we resign Jalen Brooks. Who cares.

I would like to see him featured the rest of the season before re-signing him to any kind of deal. He looked good in the one game (Atlanta) that they actually left him out there and didn't try to force feed Cement Shoes.

3 years 10 million for sure all day long. Based on the average production this team gets forn10 million that would be insane for us.

He's 26, low tread on the tires, well-rounded back w/ good work ethic. Maybe it's something to consider so we don't get into the offseason/draft with an empty RB room.

He’s the best RB we have, reasonably cheap and wouldn’t keep you from drafting a RB. Seems like a good move to me

STOP RESIGNING JAGS, ESPECIALLY AT THE DEEPEST POSITION
Thank you! Why do we as fans always think we have good talent that needs to be resigned. RB is the easiest position to find. I would rather draft a young player like Jeanty and be set at the position. Or we find a heavy downhill runner and get a guy like Sampson for the change elite speed threat. Guys like Rico can be found in the mid rounders or picked up in free agency. Look at what Hunt is doing in KC.

Man…comparing Rico to ESmith?

ok.

Rico is slow.
Not comparing them so much as pointing out they basically run the same 40 time and speed isn’t as important to a RB as vision and quickness. Rico is a solid #2 RB. Draft a guy and pair them together and we have a solid backfield. Then I’d draft a true LT, slide the rookie to RT, trade or cut Steele and get the oline fixed. Expecting a center who’s never played center and a LT who’s never played LT to succeed as rookies is just typical Jerry thinking

Zeke and cooks are gone next year. Deuce was charity pick. If you don't resign Rico we don't have a RB on our roster.
