Would you sign DeAndre Baker?

Give him a chance but do it quickly before he wants a lot amount of money.

It's kind of unfair for 1 years worth. Well what about Tristan Hill....

 

He was terrible on the field before the legal stuff hit and he's known to have attitude issues and difficulty learning schemes. I wouldn't touch him.

Baker was one of the best defensive backs in college football in his senior season. He allowed only 175 yards and a 40.2 NFL passer rating to opposing receivers in 2018, which both ranked in the top 5 of all draft eligible cornerbacks with a minimum of 300 coverage snaps. He was named a consensus 2018 All-American and won the Jim Thorpe Award, awarded to the best defensive back in college football. But he was REALLY bad.

 

Bakers rookie year was worse than what Worley showed this year. Much worse.

Then add in the baggage.

The fact that someone else made a mistake and took him in the 1st doesnt make me feel like I'm stealing a 1st round pick.

 

Certainly extortion after the fact, but he may very well be guilty too, and just bought his way out of it.

They should investigate the rest of his history to see which is more likely, and act accordingly.

 

OK......this article talks about the character issues. After reading this, I agree he's not everyone's cup of tea.

around here if you dont make the pb year one there are many who say yes they are all busts..those are ignorant fans but its been said. Remember HILL lol

 

People going around calling him a bust are beyond ridiculous..the guy was in the league for 1 year..playing the hardest position in the sport, outside of qb..
