Would you trade a draft pick for RGIII?

I would be interested if they cut him and thus, we aren't on the hook for his $3.5m next (option for $18m the following year, yeah right)...with this OL, and sitting behind Tony, he would be able to learn a lot more...but again, only if he is cut and then you negotiate a cheapo/prove himself type of deal...my God would it piss off Commander fans!!!

I would never give up a resource (draft pick) for him

According to various analysts, he's done in Washington. Some said that his problem is mostly on his mind, that the "talent" is still there... Personally, i would gamble even a third if he passes some evaluation.

Aside from being a coach killah, he also recently attributated his failures to his team mates. And, of course, he backtracked from his statement that made his team mates out to be never do wells and underachieving.

RGIII be the next Vince Young, only a bit brighter.

You're right about his rookie contract, that's an issue for sure. I don't think he is that bad, he just land on a situation where he was supposed to be te savior of a franchise, yes, all the picks that Wasshington gave to pick him was ridiculous, but if you remembrer when he was coming out of College he was regarded as a high charachter guy. Just check his scouting reports from various sites.

absolutely, I live in DC and the problem is his O-line, b/c of the lack of protection he has become gun shy.

Dustin Vaughan is better , my goodness colt McCoy is better .

I think skill wise he could be pretty good. He's been getting killed in Washington, and they haven't done much to help him out.
Snyder is Jones part two. Only Jones has the people around him now to push harder.

Could not believe they spent THREE 1st round picks on him.
And the two of the three were right at the very top of the draft...so basically as far as trade value, they traded the equivalent of about 4-5 mid-1st round picks for RG3, and plus some..
Oh, and also a high second rounder in 2012.

Think of the damage you could do drafting with that ammo!
Of course, you would actually have to draft well for it make a difference.

Still...mind-boggling stuff

Another reason to be glad we have Romo. Played behind all that crap for years and remained a team player.

At least 2 dozen people on this site would have given a kidney for RG3.
They would have given Washington Romo AND a 1st rounder to get him in 2012.

Having said all that, I certainly think Griffin is better than what he's shown this year. But yes, he was very overrated.

I remember that well. I'm still not sure a dozen wouldn't still do it.

If RG3 truly is done in Washington, rides the bench for the rest of the season, and gets cut, I would say the case can be made that he's the biggest bust ever, considering what they gave up to draft him.

And I certainly wouldn't EVER want to see him wearing the star. Gross.

Dob all those slamming RG remember what he did to us just two years ago? There is talent there. If he can get away from the drama, he could still have a decent career somewhere.

That's the problem the drama will follow wherever he goes and the 2012 rg doesn't exist anymore

Imagine the drama if he came here, it's not worth it even if he did return to 2012 form
