Would you trade a draft pick for RGIII?

I would definitely trade a 3rd round pick or lower for him. I would like my odds on getting more out of him than a QB taken in the 3rd round or lower in the draft. Not many 3rd round picks or lower pan out especially QB's so what do you have to lose gambling a mid round pick or lower on a young QB who showed great potential their rookie year? RG3 lost his confidence trying to get back to form from his knee injury and his inability to play from the pocket caught up with him at the NFL level. The injury forced him to have to play from the pocket more and that's not his style. He's having trouble dealing with all the criticism he's been receiving the past couple of years and living up to the expectations his rookie year brought. Like with Vince Young the losses and criticism have shattered his confidence.

He was able to keep NFL defenses off balance as a rookie with his combination of running and throwing but not any longer. RG3's lack of success the past 2 seasons has clearly destroyed his confidence and a change of scenery might do him some good. The guy has talent we saw that his rookie year but he has to learn to shut his mouth and improve from the pocket. With Romo getting older and with nothing behind him RG3 showed enough potential his rookie year to take a flier on with a 3rd rounder or less in my opinion.

A lot of the 2012 RG3 was the novelty of the offense.
He ran it well, but everyone (or almost everyone) knew that one year later regardless of injury, the NFL DCs were going to catch up to him.

I don't want to pile on, but if you'll recall, that really was how he was.

Also, those saying he would get hurt due to the game he played were also correct. It went with the package.
Their run game was going nuts and their play action was leaving the deep ball wide open and even underneath stuff fairly open due to the fear that he'd takeoff.
DCs have come up with several ways to battle that now.

Definitely for a late round pick. I know he sucks but I'd rather have him than Weeden as our backup. And maybe if he sits on the bench playing behind a real QB it'll humble him and make him realize he isn't all that.

Absolutely! Rg3 has tons of talent we seen that 1st hand. He's going through some crazy mental slump. Doesn't help his team sucks. I would take a chance on him and let him sit behind Romo.

That washington organization is just screwed. What happened to Kirk Cousins, who was supposed to take over?Oh yeah, that's right, he looked like trash. Colt won't fare much better there. If RG3 didn't have the knee issues, I'd give up a 3rd for him.

I would not let RG1 1/2 in the same room with Romo.

For a 6th or 7th, I would absolutely take a flier on him and approach it like he's a rookie, but only for a reasonable contract. He has the mobility and the arm, and he has had success prior to injury in the NFL.

Do you feel better about Weeden?

His mobility isn't the same due to injury. He had success in a gimmick system which he can't run any more. No I don't feel better about Weeden but he will be gone so it doesn't matter why choose between the two?

I think skill wise he could be pretty good. He's been getting killed in Washington, and they haven't done much to help him out.
Snyder is Jones part two. Only Jones has the people around him now to push harder.

he has a pro bowl Rb , two pro bowl wrs , and an all pro LT.

Why would we want to pay his 7m guaranteed contract next year?

Another Madden trade.
