Would you trade for Paxton Lynch?

Why not? They gifted Dak the job. No competition. Enjoy.

Dak was the the beneficiary of injury. We would have started Moore when Romo went down if he was healthy. Dak was not gifted anything. He got lucky. But, arguing that Dak didn't earn the job from that point on is absurd. He had one of the greatest rookie QB seasons in NFL history. If you can't see the difference , I can't help you. Enjoy

There's no chance on Jerry's green earth that Dak would be demoted let alone be subjected to a 'training camp competition'. Jerry 'wakes up each day and thanks God for Dak Prescott'. That doesn't sound like an owner who's willing to demote 'his guy'.
Jerry demoted Romo, got rid of Emmitt, cut Ware. You can bash Jerry all you want but I think you are full of it

I was kind of halfway being sarcastic about Foles I know he is a system guy. But I think Wentz is the real deal. No spot on the field is safe when Wentz takes the snap. He can make all the throws and into tight windows down the field.
I disagree. Wentz accuracy isn't very good and he makes bad decisions. Sure he has a strong arm but Foles is doing the exact same thing that Wentz was. One could say Foles is playing better as it was playoffs were the pressure is much harder.

I'm not sold on Wentz and word is his injury is much worst. He might not be better then Weeden when he comes back.....if he does at all

I got eyes bro......they don't lie.

It's simple.really.
God, I hate fans like you. Working at a drive thru, convinced you're a GM. Dirty Harry avatar to complete the internet tough guy image. No ability to use, or even understand, simple words like "assume." All I can say is...lol.

No, word is actually that he's a month ahead of schedule. Not just the Eagles beat guys saying this, it's the national guys.

You continue to be wrong about...everything.

PS- Wentz doesn't make "bad decisions," but it's too annoying typing on this little phone's keyboard (which is as small as a chihuahua's privates) to explain that to someone on your low level.

Nick Foles just played himself into $10M a year territory - you already know somebody would pay him that type of $$$$$.
Actually, he's under contract for next year (I think for $4 million) so you'd have to trade for him anyway. They'd probably trade him, but since it's w/in the division...

I think its a no brainer to trade a 5th or lower pick for QB talent even if it is a two year rental. I have not watched any of his PS games. It is possible that there are mortal flaws to his game that I do not know about. Prima facie I like the idea. Dak needs a fire lit under his butt.

"Word is".

All I have seen is 9 to 12 months but then again I'm not an Eagles fan posing as a cowboys fan.

And yes Wentz decision making isn't great, neither is his accuracy. He has no touch as he thinks he needs to throw 100 mph ball every pass.

Anyways since I'm such a low level perhaps you need to stay in the VIP section instead of gracing us with your presence.

Not sure if you have read the rules but name calling isn't allowed. This isn't a trash talking site. I have been benched for saying less, just trying to help you out since you are a rookie around here

He's a putz. He might make a decent NFL QB but he doesn't have the size and his head is way screwed up.

He keeps a list, an actual list, of anyone who he feels has doubted or wronged him for payback. One of my acquaintance's has a son that knows him pretty well from his time at Tech and said he's a real pr*** with an attitude.

He really made a fool out of himself with the Kansas game, grabbing his crotch and being a jerk. They refused to shake hands with him after he made fun of the football team as compared to the basketball team. Kansas? Who in the hell makes fun of Kansas football? It's already funny. He sent tweets to Baylor prior to the game asking "who's your Daddy? I am your Daddy".

I didn't want Manziel for the same reasons I do not want him. Arm "might" be OK but the head isn't.
Sounds like he'd be funny as hell if he were a wide receiver, but I agree QBs w/ that kind of personality tend to flame out.

Would not give up a pick for him, no. If we add a QB, it should be someone with starts in the league who already knows how to play. Save the developmental QB spot for Rush unless we find an upgrade somewhere this season.

A very wise position. We are most likely sunk if Dak goes down. Maybe Cooper comes in and does what Dak did in 2016, but I wouldn’t bet the farm on it. That was the greatest failure in 2015 - not having a reasonable backup plan if something happened to Tony. Hope and pray isn’t a viable risk management philosophy.

Huh?Maybe I'm wrong but Wentz won 11 games until he went out. 33 TDs? How is that the exact same?

Brilliant plan. Let's pick up a QB Denver doesn't want. Makes sense.

Yea I’d trade my first for Lynch then trade back into the 4th and 5th rds with my 2nd and 3rd round picks so we can repeat the epic 2009 draft.
While we’re at it, let’s trade 2 future 1st rd picks for a former Texas WR that we feel isn’t being used right. And hell, let’s go ahead and extend Garrett another 10 years.

Exactly. And even if whoever we bring in realistically has no shot of replacing Dak, having a vet who’s capable of starting might spur him a little bit and keep an edge. I’m sure the competition with Tony helped him perform the way he did in 2016, for example. He’s a guy who’s got a history of rising to the occasion in competitions. Having Moore or Rush back there does nothing in that regard.

For a 5th or 6th rounder? Sure. Nothing higher than that though. He;s been beat out by Trevor Seimien (spelling?) for 2 years, which is all that needs to be said.

Paxton is not good enough to start in the NFL. One of those QBs drafted because they are physical specimens as opposed to his QB skills. Isnt an upgrade on any of our current QBs.
