There's no chance on Jerry's green earth that Dak would be demoted let alone be subjected to a 'training camp competition'. Jerry 'wakes up each day and thanks God for Dak Prescott'. That doesn't sound like an owner who's willing to demote 'his guy'.

Paxton Lynch made Dak Prescott look like Aaron Rodgers, in spite of having 2 WRs to throw to with 7 Pro Bowls between them.

He went 1-3 playing on a team loaded everywhere but... wait for it... QB.

If you think Dak can't pass with his 95.5 career passer rating, but Lynch can with his 76.7 career passer rating, you are just dumb as all hell.

Paxton looked even more lost than Dak. Hey man, I get why you aren't a Dak fan...............I am, but I can admit he had some SERIOUS stinkers this year no doubt. I just think he showed enough in year 1 to get 1 more year to try and improve. Plus, he's still cheap as hell. I'm of the belief that, if he had more Beasley-type WR (quick-footed, precise route running, and sure handed), he would look like the guy we saw in Year 1. Gunslingers (like Romo) can throw to anybody, but they are way more prone to the boneheaded TO (see Favre, Brett). I would love to see how Dak could improve throwing to:

WR - Anthony Miller or Trey Quinn
Slot - Beasley
Slot - Switzer
TE - Mark Andrews/Dallas Goedert/Mike Gesecki (pick any one)
WR - Christian Kirk or Calvin Ridley

I know, I know........you don't think he has it. But, a receiving corp like that could work wonders for any young QB. Just my opinion...............reminds of the Greatest Show on Turf crew (they were all 6' and under with great quickness, hands, and route-running abilities).

I agree with you for the most part. I wouldn't go after Foles, he is a system QB just like Wentz. Eagles traded too much to move away from Wentz and Foles will look at a big contact which I dont think Dallas should pursue.

I was kind of halfway being sarcastic about Foles I know he is a system guy. But I think Wentz is the real deal. No spot on the field is safe when Wentz takes the snap. He can make all the throws and into tight windows down the field.
