Wouldn't it be great if our 'backups', k.o. the 'Skins' playoff hopes?

I've edited your list to include only relevant players, and players who have missed MORE than one game.

Good luck in the not-playoffs.

You and I may disagree as to if Rocky sucks, but he was a starter for 14 weeks on a pretty good D.

so that's 2 less goal-line stuffs then huh? lol

Wow was I pissed when they overturned that. I wont say that he def. got in but I couldnt see there was enough evidence to overturn it. Just brought back painful memories of Alstott a few years ago in that infamous goalline 2 point conversion. Sellers is a beast though.

I didn't say he was irrelevant. But he has only missed one (or one and a half, if you like) game. That's why I said it's a list of relevant players and players who have missed more than one game. For god's sake - your boy is listing freaking Mike Espy and Pucillo as injury losses. BRANDON LLOYD! Tell your man to throw in the towel before he embarasses your fanbase any further.

whats up BigD,

Sellers did miss I think 2 games with a back injury. I dont know if Redster brought that up or not. Technically Rocky has missed 1 game and half....he got hurt in the 1st quarter of the giants game i think:D

How goes it man, I know Sellers missed a game or so earlier but redsters post did not refer to that. It refered to him getting hurt in the beggining of the vikes game, and then he comes here and says that I cant use people who got hurt in the game LOL

well you had an earlier list that said "McIntosh-Sucks." So i was just responding to that. Lol Mike Espy has made a few fans here because of how good he looks in training camp and preseason games is all. Pucillo is (was) our back up center. He replaced Rabach for the game he was out. Hes not a superstar but if Rabach gets hurt again that means Pete Kendall will have to move to Center and and undrafted free agent Loreonzo Alexander is our new starting guard. Dont get me started on Brandon Lloyd.

what I saw was the ball not crossing the plane, Sellers is a beast, but he sure seems to come up short alot for a man his size

Alright, I'm not going to respond till you guys prove to me that the Dallas Cowboys are just as injured as the Washington Commanders. The way I see this game is that we're already playing our backups. I will have won this argument if you can't provide me with a list similar to the one I have below showing that your team has more injuries than ours. I will obviously include Sean Taylor in this list.
1. N. Broughton
Is that Nehemiah Broughton? You mean the 1nd year RB from the Citadel who has 1 carry for 3 yards in his career? HUGE loss.
2. S. Harris
Steven Harris... WR. career stats look like this: _____________________________. That includes games played.
3. M. Espy
1 catch for 20 yards. In preseason.
4. D. Blaylock
Not even listed on your roster at NFL.com. Espy and Harris are, surprisingly enough. I guess this is Derrick Blaylock, who you cut on Sept. 3 before the season even started. Has never had a carry with the Skins, and the last two seasons with the Jets he played 11 games and had 42 carries for 98 yards. How did you ever win a game without this guy?
5. J. Jansen
I'll give you this one....
6. C. Rogers
And this one... even though you tried to compare him with Newman, which is an automatic fail in my book.
7. B. Lloyd
25 catches as a Commander, including 2 in 2007. Huge loss obviously.
8. R. Thomas
Wow a guy who actually matters. And has missed more games than he's played this season. That makes 3.

That said, he was only placed on IR back on Dec. 13. Which again goes to show you that IR means nothing. If that was the defining stat regarding what team has been "more injured," then you can't count the 10 games where he was merely listed as inactive.
9. R. McIntosh
He still is credited with 13 games played, only having missed the Giants and Vikings games... both games you won. Hard to say his loss is the reason you guys struggled for the first 12 games of the year.
10. Jason Campbell
He's missed 2 games. Both games you won. See R. McIntosh.
11. Sean Taylor
Makes 4. And his loss rallied your team.
12. Pucillo
Not on IR. Not on your injury report. Still listed as #2 C on your depth chart.

So 4 legitimate losses for a substantial amount of time.

Still think the injury situations aren't comparable? I can't imagine you do.

Pucillo On IR\Practice Update

Reserve C Mike Pucillo, suffering from back problems, was put on IR, ending his season. He could not practice again this week. Pete Kendall has been the emergency center, and Mr. Utility Lorenzo Alexander has takedn Pucillo's spot as the tackle eligible. G Rick DeMulling can do so as well.

The Skins activated OT Kevin Sampson from the practice squad to take Pucillo's roster spot.

From what we saw in practice, looked like everyone was back in some capacity. FB Mike Sellers (concussion) was participating, though we will have to see whether in a full capacity or not. WR Keenan McCardell (calf) was catching balls, and TE Todd Yoder (knee) was back in pads as well.

Actually, against Minnesota, Mike Sellers went down early on in the game. So basically, we played without 6 starters. So, that's two more than your 4. I'm not including players like Brandon Lloyd and Jason Campbell. Our injury sitation is much worse if you include ALL players. Against Minnesota we were actually without:
1. Jason Campbell
2. Brandon Lloyd
3. Mike Espy(Wide Receiver)
4. Jon Jansen
5. Randy Thomas
6. Rocky McIntosh
7. Carlos Rogers
8. Sean Taylor
9. Pucillo
10. Mike Sellers who got injured because of concussion.

I have missed a lot of other players.

You only have two players on injured reserve:ferguson and deon anderson. We have 9. Add to that Sean Taylor.
How exactly is your injury situation the same as ours?

P.S. If Carlos Rogers is bad, then so is Terrence Newman. Rogers can't make interceptions, but he is a great cover corner. One person who I would compare Rogers to is Newman: can't make interceptions, but is a great cover corner. Remember, we were giving up 13 points a game before the New England game.
Not THE Mike Espy?
