Wouldn't it be great if our 'backups', k.o. the 'Skins' playoff hopes?

And I've already posted that we've had 62 games missed, and that's not counting the games where Henry, TNew and Ellis played but didn't start.

By my count it is 57 for the Boys, and 64 for the Skins (counting only full games missed and not Tank because you knew about the suspension when you signed him). That's not much of a difference. Argument conceded. I still believe that this game on Sunday will be close despite the Boys playing their backups because we are too.

As I said, if Rogers is garbage because he can't make interceptions, what is Terrence Newman? People here in DC want their corners to be the next Darrel Green or something. I specifically remember our secondary giving up less than 200 yards/game when Rogers was playing. I think the number went up after the Arizona game because GW decided to go conservative.
Also note, I don't think I'm insulting your team by saying that the Commanders have been decimated by injury. People seem to take offense when I suggest that my team has been decimated due to injury, whereas Cowboys haven't.

Actually, against Minnesota, Mike Sellers went down early on in the game. So basically, we played without 6 starters. So, that's two more than your 4. I'm not including players like Brandon Lloyd and Jason Campbell. Our injury sitation is much worse if you include ALL players. Against Minnesota we were actually without:
1. Jason Campbell
2. Brandon Lloyd
3. Mike Espy(Wide Receiver)
4. Jon Jansen
5. Randy Thomas
6. Rocky McIntosh
7. Carlos Rogers
8. Sean Taylor
9. Pucillo
10. Mike Sellers who got injured because of concussion.

I have missed a lot of other players.

You only have two players on injured reserve:ferguson and deon anderson. We have 9. Add to that Sean Taylor.
How exactly is your injury situation the same as ours?

You're way too myopic regarding the dreaded injured reserve list. Actually I think the IR list should be reserved for pansies who have given up for the season. Whadya think of that?

This is the typical "pre-game excuse" from you guys. Well, it's a wrong statement!

First of all, you are playing your starters, not your backups. It's not the NFL's fault that St. Gibbs built a crappy team with no depth.

Second of all, the Cowboys CHOOSE to not play their starters, so that is why the backups will play...because they are BACKUPS. Your starters are not backups, they are starters because your team basically sucks.

Allow me to rephrase the situation more accurately. During Sunday's game, Washington will be fielding the team that it will taking into the playoffs. Dallas, on the other hand, won't be fielding the team it will be taking into the playoffs. It doesn't matter whether both teams consist of starters, backups, or arena league players. The matchup will be much different if the teams meet in the playoffs.
