Let's start a poll about who people would read and trust about any subject in football. You vs. me.

You up for the disappointment?

Guys who hate me here will vote for me over you. Jessica Alba vs. Janet Reno in a bikini contest kind of blowout.

Nah, this would be cruel.

Yea, it was an empty threat. All the other forums are exactly the same :)

Please tell me that's not true. I hope our entire fanbase embraces how much I hate them sometimes. What a bunch of wusses.

I'll give you URLs. This place is tame compared to some of them.

erickb, you show perspective and a level head. I'm not saying you might be outnumbered around here, but I did see this on the Cowboyszone front door.

It is not just a loss, it is the way we lost.

Same old crap - different year.

This is why people are pissed at Romo, including myself. He has a knack for big plays and we all love to see his magic, but he has a knack for careless mistakes that have been forgiven and understood, until now.

Why?

Because Dallas gave up TO, so the offense could become more friendly & turnover prevention conscious. Romo stated he was concentrating on eliminating his errors (int's & fumbles) that have cost the TEAM in many big stage games.

When?

Romo friendly offense is capable of doing these objectives, except Romo once again fails to reel in his impulse judgements.

Next?

Romo MUST show up against quality teams in big games to erase this preception of him, amongst non-fans and now many current fans. There is evidence and it cannot easily be dismissed by negative fans sour grapes also because Romo has demonstrated this many times in big stage games.

Not sure I want confirmation of that sad fact. Our fans are as spineless as they accuse the team of being, and that's saying something because their accusations are insane.

If I see one more fan explaining that they 'still have Romo's back, but they're considering not having his back later in the season and they just thought they should let us know now....' I might pop.

We just live in a very soft time man. Fans are so soft they might as well be pillows. Their toughness comes entirely of smack talk and hurling empty insults and threats because they are used to the safety and anonymity of a monitor.

The old saying is, "when the going gets tough, the tough get going." Not in the Internet age. When the going gets tough, panic and get hysterical.

I guess he needed to cry, whine, piss, and moan more for it to be good right? How dare he not be a big pansy who over-reacts to everything.

what part of it is weak?

The fact that he didn't over-react and turn into a cry baby over everything is why it's viewed as weak.

This forum is simply amazing after a hard fought loss by 2 points to a recent #1 seed and Super Bowl champion division rival.

If we had just replayed the Philly loss, it'd be understandable. But I can see how some people would want to "quit" the forum after this reaction. This is absolutely ********.

There is something ******** on the forums but it has more to do with certain people than it does anything else.

13 years of losing makes fans hard, not soft.

Most fans were soft as a babies butt for 13 years of Jerry Jones but enough is enough, it's a very old act and time for Jones to graduate from diapers.

The going has been tough for way too long when talking about the Dallas Cowboys and everyone outside the Organization and Fans absolutey have realized the FAIL that is Mr. Head Honcho Football Man Jerry Jones years and years ago.

Sarcasm Bro. Hence the reference to a playoff loss Monday night. ;)
Just getting the little details out of the way in case some haven't heard about our playoff record lately.

I've never seen so many knuckle heads cry, moan, whine and bellyache over things they really don't even know about. It's ridiculous. Aside from a few threads, most of them are garbage from a football perspective.

What blows me away are the fans that show up and cry like brats, threaten to leave if the Cowboys don't do better, insult posters that are not looking for the sky to fall...and, they come here day after day, saying the same thing.

Hey, if you don't llike Romo, cool. If you don't like Wade, cool. If you don't like how the last game went, cool. So, why be miserable...just hit the friggen road then!

If you can't handle the losses, yet orgasm over a win, then you are not keeping it real in the first place. So, just hit the friggen road! Why be miserable?

A loss like that last game is disappointing, I know that. I was disappointed also...but I'm not going to wail like a freaking brat, blaming everyone and everything and telling everyone what should be done.

Like someone else said, it's a bummer to come here lately because of the spoiled brats that are here.

Two games have been played. Two games...and the brats are already throwing in the towel? That is weak minded...and the Cowboys don't need weak minded fans...so why not just hit the friggen road?

Two games...and the tar and feathers are in full force. How pathetic...

I completely disagree with that. First of all this team has never endured 13 years of losing. We are now enduring 13 years of post season failures. There is a difference.

Second of all the fan atmosphere is so different now that it is nauseating. I endured 15 seasons from 1977 to 1992 waiting for a 3rd Super Bowl. Those years were hard. We had back to back seasons where we were the worst team in the NFL and several where we weren't any good. We had Landry's ouster and Tex leaving, and Roger's retirement. Players like Tony and Herschel were sent packing. If you wore Cowboys stuff people actually pitied you. They'd ask you if you bought it on sale.

Now the only thing half of the mouth breathers who hate the team can say is "Cowboys suck" as if that is some kind of brilliant observation. The ability to converse intelligently is sadly lacking in today's generation and it is getting worse.

No one ever accused me of being a hater in the 1980's when I criticized Steve Pelluer non stop. Now, you can be called a hater for simply not genuflecting towards some player that someone adores.

Harder? Nah, maybe in the past losing made fans harder. Today it makes them whine like I have never seen in my life, and to me that is soft.

It would be scary to see some of these guys on an actual football team. Turning against the team at any sign of trouble.

My thinking is, we played like crap. Big deal. We were still in position to win the game against a good team. Oh well, it didn't work out. Move on to next week.

It's not the losing, I endured those years in the 80's also and waited every week for my Dallas Cowboys Weekly to arrive 3 days late and I remember them well, but at that time, maybe it was because I was a lot younger and had less information but it did not seem like we had a team that underacheived like this one and one who had no heart or toughness like I see in this group sometimes.

I am not whining about losing it's just the way this team goes about it. I turned to my son after our TD and asked him if he expected our D to hold and he said "no" and I said "I don't either"

To watch what the Jets did to Brady in that last drive and to compare it with the D we played in that last drive.........ugggggghhh

It's just sickening. We had not covered anyone all game and yet Wade wants to rush 4 and rely on our coverage.

That was mindboggling.

It was sickening just like Baltimore and Philly last year.
