So the "bad losses" in that post were not Baltimore and Philly and now the Giants? They are a playoff loss in 2007 and 3 other playoff losses with teams not named The Dallas Cowboys?

That's broader perspective is it? Enlighten me more. This is fascinating. I have never realized that a coaches losses with other teams translate to his current team. Tell me how the playoff losses with Denver and Buffalo affect the 2009 Dallas Cowboys.
cause he's a loser. why would the players respect a loser that is supposed to teach them how to win?

I am neither blind nor a homer and you know it.

Yet you can't even comprehend (or at least are acting like you can't comprehend) that the way the team played Sunday night and the mistakes they made are similar to the same way they played when they lost last year.

So yeah, let's just keep pretending every game is in it's own little vacuum and there is no such thing as a trend or "broader perspective".

Ah, so it still wasn't me you were responding to but I am also the one who used the word prevarication and no one else did?

You gonna stick with that? Seriously?

Can you read?

I said I wasn't responding to THAT post of yours.

I have asked that this be about football not your emotions. Can you switch to that mode for once?

I have a challenge for you then. Please show me where the current players have announced their lack of respect for Wade Phillips as you just claimed.

Sadly I have to leave and go to Church soon and might miss this and the rest of the discussion.

Tell Jerry Jones that.

He is the one that hasn't given Wade Phillips a contract extension.

He hasn't given Wade Phillips a contract extension because of his losses in the "past" as the coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

Jerry Jones definately sees the "broader perspective" and that is Wade Phillips has never proven he could win a Playoff Game and as Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys, still hasn't proved it.

That isn't what I did. That's what you project that I did. Read my "Touch of Hostility" thread. I have excused nothing. I am pretending nothing. You're the one pretending here and we both know it.

Enlighten me on "broader perspective." Show me how in NFL History it has taken down teams over and over and over again. How no team rises and no team falls because of parity or any other factor. You can't do it and we both know it.

44-6.

I'm not a religious person so can I ask why you're going to church at 9:00 at night?

Yes, and I already said you responded using the word "illusion" which was yet another word I started in the thread.

Go back and follow your own posts to the logical conclusion.

Yep sir.

People are just tired of seeing the same garbage over and over again.

This has nothing to do with "one loss" and everything to do with seeing quite a bit of this nonesense over the past couple of seasons.

Dude. Just let get out of your "argumentatitive mode" for a second and use your brain.

This is about the Cowboys making the same mistakes and losing as they did in games last year. It has nothing to do with your tangent about parity from season to season or how teams can rise or fall. No one is arguing against that.

But is it really that difficult for you to see similarities with the way Romo played and the way he played in his losses in years past? Or is the fact that it is now 2009 supposed to magically reinvent him and everyone on the team? Is that what you're saying. Hey, the calendar has changed so everyone is a new player. Gee that makes sense.

Oh Mike, this is a cop out man.

Here I am defending a man I never defend, Wade Phillips, and this is all you have?

Jerry Jones saw Jason Garrett as his future coach before he ever even hired Wade. It's amazing how a man who supposedly has no instincts for football at all suddenly has the "broader perspective" that you guys are seeing.

Jerry has "broader persepctive" everybody. Hey, everybody, did you hear that? Jerry has "broader perspective."

We're kind of in the middle of a discussion. But yeah, I guess we can suddenly stop talking about the current subject and randomly jump to talking about the defensive line or how Crayton runs patterns.

That last part I will partially agree with.
