wow Phillips PC

I don't know why anyone would expect any different. He's not going to change the person he's been for the last 60 years on this planet after one embarassing loss. This is who he is. It's funny how this optimistic approach and upbeat attitude was going to be the antidote for this team after Parcells, and going to cure all of it's ills, and now it's a detriment.

Why do people not understand that what a coach says to the media and what he says to his team behind closed doors can be two different things?

I don't get what's so hard about this.

the results since GB kinda suggest otherwise :(

No he's not. He never said that. Good grief.

He is saying that we did improve this year from last year and that the team has a bright future. Sorry that doesn't fit with some people's "The more pessimism the better" attitude.

In fact, what I hear right now is that he now knows the players and that they'll evaluate how they can improve things. Sounds to me like they'll make some moves now that they know what they need to do.

ChocolateLab, do you see now why I posted several weeks ago about our defense, low point scoring December and our propensity of making mistakes. Everything weakness is drawn out in the playoff games. If you are not rock solid you won't go very far.

It's funny how this was Parcells team when they were 13-3, and now it isn't... Who drafted Jacques Reeves? Who coaches the offensive line?

Some of you guys are not only harsh but ridiculous. What do you expect him to say?

I believe that Wade hurts as much with that loss as anyone. I believe he can win in the playoffs too. He got robbed in Buffalo, and his team (and he has to accept some responsibility for it) choked yesterday.

But I do think this team is on the right direction. The truth is, this team surpassed the expectations of most fans coming into this season. Then, they underacheived right after our hopes were up.

I think it's going to be an interesting and fun off-season to see what Dallas does though. You've got a lot of the pieces you want and need, but I think Wade will go after more of "his" guys. Remember, this wasn't really his team...

He also said the "Giants definitely won" :)

He took a few shots at the officials...for the Offside call on Ware...for the roughing call on Davis...for the Intentional grounding call on Romo...he happens to be right on all three.

Exactly...

Parcells built a slow, big defense. Wade's defense doesn't cater to the style. Our LBs are way too slow. Roy Williams became a fat-boy when Parcells was here.

Our offensive line coach is way over-rated, and he is going to be gone. It just looked like total disconnect between what Jason was doing, and what Sparano was doing.

I think that is why JJ let Ireland go, because Wade is going to have a pretty heavy hand in the scouting department. Even Dan reeves said Wade is one of the better evaluators of talent in the league.

I'll take Wade any day over that old shyster, dude looks like a lady we had. Still, he sounded like a jive turkey fool in that PC.

0-4 in the playoffs as a head coach. nuff said

While he should at least be 2-X,were it not for really quite absurd calls by refs.

Irvin is is awesome listening to him now wish WP had his passion

Please explain to me why our offensive line is over-rated. I really want to know because it seems to me, most of the season they were pretty dang good.

The only thing that matters is scoreboard. He's 0-4.

They couldnt run block with any consistancy the entire season.

well i'm somewhat warming up to the fact that he'll be back next year the thing the worries me is that he's seem totally clueless to the problems this team has had since the 2nd half of the GB game. Hopefully he's not and just choses to address them behind closed doors guess we'll find out

We stopped executing on offense. Players fault, not Wade or Garrett.

yeah i can agree with that...I do think this line is dramatically improved from last year though...and just needs a little more to get to top level.

Kevin Kiley is certainly giving Wade the Bidness.

I can't stand listening to that guy. Even if Mike has some good things to say, I can't suffer through Kiley to get to them.
