WP: NFL Owners Increasingly Favor Disciplinary Action Against Jones

I'm on the brink of canceling Sunday Ticket and walking away myself. I certainly don't feel energized to watch a bunch of extra games, and I'm leaning towards not watching tonight's game.

Whatever happens in the game tonight--the on field product will be severely compromised by Goodell's actions, suspending one of the best young players in the league on extremely questionable "evidence." Imagine the billing for tonight's game if Zeke was playing? Instead, it seems there is some cohort of owners who are more interested in settling scores with Jerry than the competitive product on the field and the long term interests of the league. In any event, the problems in the league go beyond Goodell, even if he should certainly go.

Can NFL teams leave the league? Imagine if Jerry and a bunch of other owners took their teams and started their own league. What teams would leave w him? Maybe, the skins and pats? Who else? It's a pipe dream, I know, but it's fun to imagine.

Goodell sabotaged any chance we had for the playoffs. This team was on a pretty good winning streak. Just beat KC and everything was looking up. After tonight unless a miracle happens it'll be over. I can't stand that guy.

The dez Bryant catch/no catch in greenbay was the start of the downfall of my nfl fandom. At this point we all have Stockholm syndrome.

I agree. I was always hoping that my opinion that the league was dirty was just my irrational bias. After the Dez catch, It became quite obvious that the league had it in for us. It still fries me to no end that it was Tony Romo's last chance to get to a Super Bowl and he was robbed of that chance. To make matters worse, I hate the Steelers and they are at the opposite end of the spectrum when it comes to ref and league love.

Only the NFL would be stupid enough to try to take draft picks away from the team that is hosting the draft. They must not want anyone showing up to their draft.

As much as I hate the Steelers, I would cheer them on over the Eagles. I guess I probably would not even watch.

Why do fans boo the commissioner after 10 years? I don't remember Tagliabue (sp?) booed ever.

I no longer watch any of the pregame shows. NFL has shown their true corruption. There are no values.

I still watch some of the Cowboys games. Eagles game tonight will mostly be watched. The fix is in on the
Cowboys and Jerry Jones is / will be punished.
