These are all leaks using "anonymous sources" by the colluding owners, their lackey commissioner, and their shills in the media. There has been a recent rampage of anti-Jerry Jones negativity via the media, standard and social, with sensationalized titles and content. Propaganda at its finest.

These owners are going to see that Jerry is right and it's going to be too late.

"It is not clear how many owners favor taking action against Jones, but the group that supports such a move is said to include some of the league’s most influential owners, according to those with knowledge of the situation, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the threat of litigation."
This is a PR fight. When the sources have names and the count of owners against him have numbers, we'll know what's what. Until then, this is jockeying for public sentiment knowing the gullible will swallow it whole.

We already knew powerful owners were lined up agaainst him, and who they are, from the fallout with the compensation committee.

We also know any questionable calls in tonight's game will go against the Cowboys.

What else is new?

Eagles may get a holding call against them if the game isn't close at the end. I'm prepared for it. PIs, roughing calls, holding when we have a good play, defensive holding, and maybe even some kind of obscure penalty will be thrown in.

I think this will be magnified considering what's happened this week.

These reports might be true. Jerry is a powerful owner, but he is not more powerful than Mara+Blank+Kraft. But at this point I really don't care if they punish the cowboys. The league is already against us anyway. At least this time Jerry is making some noise.

I expect calls going against us the rest of the year. Against the Eagles I expect 3-4 holdings against us (yes, our pro bowlers have such terrible technique they hold all the time huh?), and I expect zero holdings against the eagles, except for garbage time.

Why do fans boo the commissioner after 10 years? I don't remember Tagliabue (sp?) booed ever.
I know players hate the commissioner, but why do the fans hate him so much?

I think most fans of other teams, also know that Goodell is a piece of crap.

I live near Philadelphia. Most eagles fans I have talked to think that the Zeke suspension is Goodell having too much power. They all say they don’t mind because ya not having Zeke helps the eagles, but they recognize that the entire situation is a mess and shouldn’t have happened.

I dont think public opinion matters as much as people think. There are 31 markets out there where Zeke, Dez catch, RG v Jerry has no impact other than a sideshow. Most fans in most sports will tell you they dont like X, Y, Z etc. about league management, Commissioner, officials etc. This doesnt translate into being annoyed enough to become activists against, stop watching their favorite teams.

If RG loses his job it will not be because of tbe various Cowboys issues or any single franchise. The NFL went through 40 years of battles with the Raiders - did any of us Cowboys fans care?

There are much bigger issues out there for RG. If he leaves the job it will be because the league mishandles the franchise relocation (and there are possibly 2-3 more in the near future), fluffs International expansion or doesnt monetise emerging online ways of fans to experience NFL. Its all about the money!

Jerry just asked me to execute order 214 and ready his troops for battle. We march on the East in two days time.

Honestly I’m done with the NFL. Have been for a while. This just solidified it.

It seems like every time Jerry is smarter than the other owners, they get upset and have to do something. Uncapped year, he front loaded contracts and the owners cried it to be unfair and docked the Cowboys 10 mil for FA. I guess in the NFL not only are guilty before proven innocent but you will penalized for being smarter and taken risks than the other owners. What a league.

Jerry is a hypocrite, supporting Goodell against Kraft. Everybody sees that, nobody cares about Jones.

There are ways to do things and trying to remove a commissioner because he targeted one of your players isn't one of them. Jerry will lose and nobody outside of Dallas will care.

Says ‘our source’ from the league office, that place not only led by the man Jerry wants to cut the salary, but trim down all the beaurecracy that was added during that very man’s tenure..

This is such a backwards argument. Perhaps Jerry saw the two situations differently?

In any event, Jerry's not on the warpath over the suspension. He's on the warpath because he thinks they lied and manipulated him and then gave the suspension anyway.
