Just a weird time to make this thread. The receivers as a whole played their best game of the season outside of maybe the Bengals game. No drops, they were open for big plays, and they blocked on the perimeter (sans Ceedees boneheaded penalty).
The unit knows the limitations of Cooper and thats why they are chomping at the bit to get Dak back.
Ceedee has more catches and yards this year than Amari. Last year he did too
Cool, now compare their contracts and you will see why the one with 2 more Tds isnt here anymoreThere stats are pretty comparable, if you had to take one I would take the one with 2 more tds.
Stop your whining! We are a full 1/3 of the way into this season. We knew what this WR corp was when the season started. Get over it! We have had a backup QB doing his best to get us to this point. We have to make the best of what is, moving forward. The good news is Dak is coming back next week. We are 4-2 with this WR corp and a backup QB, our arrow is pointed up. We are in this fight for the playoffs! Shut up about your overhaul rant! What a mess. We have a 2...at best....most often 2.5 mental midget with a body built by Snoop posing as a 1...we have a 3 that shouldn't have been resigned, who only catches sideline routes posing as a 2....we have a special teams WR that supposedly "blocks well" and ocasionally finds a squirrel nut because he has caught thousands of balls with the backup QB posing as a 3. This corp will do nothing....especially given who is about to return at QB next week. If Booger and Chuckles resign Snoop, they both formally need to be committed....other teams swap out and retool WR corps on the fly. The Eagles had the worst WR corp the last couple of years....look now. Watch and see how long we stay saddled with this bottom 5 mess.
He has been with Cooper Rush.I never thought I'd say this, but I truly believe Noah Brown might be our best WR.
It didn't help that Rush doesn't have any zip on his throws. A lot of those plays had receivers who were open, but by the time the ball got there, the DB had time to get there too.
I agree. Dude has great hands and spacing/depth on his routes.I never thought I'd say this, but I truly believe Noah Brown might be our best WR.
Dak wins that Game last night btw. I thank Rush, but his run is over. He did his job valiantly.Rush didn't play his best for sure. But let's be fair, most of his bad throws were under pressure. Neither of our QB's are strong armed. They need to be able to generate power with their lower body. When they can't, they struggle.

the Micah Flag was a terrible 1. We may well have won the game otherwise. He messed ^.I don't see that as a certainty by any stretch. In the first half, we couldn't run it, they were getting pressure on the QB and receivers weren't getting much separation. All the same things we have seen Dak unable to overcome.
Rush made a game of it and then the D couldn't stop them again. Not sure what more Dak could have done.
But, it is a sporting contest so it's possible. A play or two could very well have swung the balance.
You can not evaluate WRs playing with a bad QB.

The receivers look below average at best! The Eagles LOCKED them down like they were little kids playing against grown men. What a mess. Did you watch the telecast? They literally showed multiple plays where guys were running open down the field but Rush didn’t see them. Like 2/3 easy opportunities for 20-30+ yard games, not to mention the late and slow pass to Lamb on the final interception. The receivers look below average at best!
