Like getting shipped off to the WR Siberia, lol. but in all seriousness if Coops career finally takes off, both Raiders and Cowboys get left with egg on face.
I give Coop his credit, we had zero passing game before he stepped in, as soon as he entered the fold, this offense improved significantly.
Thats all ancient history now, we need to deprogram from those days of having a true route runner, that took pride in arriving on time, need the ball on time and dont be hanging me out like chop liver.
That was the real issue, and we all know it,, Dak and Jerry didnt like it.

Beasley was already an established short yardage receiver before Dak got here - he just got more targets once Dak took over. Shocking that a rookie WR relied on short yardage passes more than a veteran.

Dak didn't make Beasley, Beasley was just doing what he was doing with Romo, to the rotating QBs in 2015, and then with Dak, and then what he did in Buffalo.

Except, if he's targeted more and he's being productive, aren't those good plays by Dak? Isn't Dak, therefore, helping Beasley to improve? I like Romo as well as Dak. Having a player like a Beasley where you throw to and can reliably move the ball is a good thing. And, when your WR gets targeted more, his value increases. Simple logic that

Exactly, and, if he catches the ball well and is always where he's supposed to be, then he has a very good chance of becoming a starter and a productive player. If that happens, his value would increase substantially.

True, his job is to know the plays, to run the rout and make the catch. Right now he is doing just that. As he and Dak continue to work and he is where he is supposed to be a trust starts to build. I'm glad he is showing this at this stage. No doubt he has to do it when it counts.

He had 5 TDs on fewer catches in 2015 with the same total of TDs in 2016 when he had 20 more catches. What is complicated here? It's like suggesting a player that gets force fed the ball is more valuable than a WR who is more productive with less catches and targets. Logic, yeah, apparently you fail at it.

I guess because people can't read between lines or pick up on implications: the implication here, from the original comment, is that Dak isn't a QB that is going to help develop an UDFA into a productive WR. One of the main reasons we gave up a first round draft pick for a WR in 2018 is because Dak couldn't do much with the WRs we had.

I know i get a bit sarcastic at times, but this honestly isn't a horrible situation, we are just talking WRs here, not receivers/recieving options.
This is a very unique group of WRs 2022, very different meaning diversified bios and skill sets.
Pollard can be included in the conversation.
Guess we should add the TE receiving options as well.
This is a young camp, that is understood, but is also an early camp with a nice mix of vets and youth actually getting some valuable reps and don't be surprised if Noah Brown makes a bold statement before we close camp.
Brown might be bookending CD, just saying this is a half full more than half empty glass, but just my take.

What say you Cowboy Nation.... those cuts look a little tougher when you actually look at them vs we suck at all skill positions offensively.
