But that doesn't explain why every other WR on both rosters significantly outproduced him with the same QBs
throwing the football. Regardless of who the QB was Mingo did not live up to his year 2 expectations. Even if you give him a 20% numbers boost to account for bad QB play the results are not good.

One, he came to Panthers as a rookie. UNless you are an absolute stud WR, not many rookies tear it up in year 1. Add in the fact he had absolutely the worst qb in th eleague at that point, and it is evident why he didnt do anything. Then he is traded to Dallas around week 9, and you thought he should have showed up and played lights out? Sometimes I wonder if some of you actually put any actual thought into what you type?

He came to Carolina as a rookie....year 2 he was beat out by two rookies in Legette and Coker then traded.

He came to Dallas and got similar reps to flournoy and brook.

The issue isn’t that he didn’t play lights out. The issue is he struggled to accomplish even lower end goals.

Beating out two rookies in Carolina and bottom of the roster guys in Dallas has nothing to do with the caliber of QB.

Based on talent and experience.

5,6 and 7 has shown nothing and dont have much experience. I prefer to latenthe play on the field say it all. Which means he has a chance. Reason they are numbers 5, 6 and 7 especially haw bad ou core was last year

Mingo
Turpin
4 others playing for 1 or 2 spots.
Tolbert
Flournoy
Cropper
Brooks
We now have excellent depth.

Ability and rookie contract. A good fit with the others. Tolbert is going to have to do very well to be ahead of him. Either way it's a win for the team. This group has outstanding depth.
