Woods scores 39...Mo Claiborne scored 1.....
Bad interview?I just wonder why he slipped.
I did not get it either.
I know those around the Cowboys and the Twitter crowd talked him up, but it just seems weird.
He stated he had a team call him before Dallas drafted him trying to recruit him as a UDFA.
Bad interview?
Which is ridiculous, they over analyze these football players to the point that everyone has to be impossibly perfect.
What do you mean by bad interview? I love his demeanor in that video.
Just asking? He's a pretty serious demeanor, could come off wrong in a pre-draft combine interview or two, then he slides? What do you mean by bad interview? I love his demeanor in that video.
lol how is a serious demeanor a bad thing, especially for someone on defense? i wish byron jones had some of that dawg in him.Just asking? He's a pretty serious demeanor, could come off wrong in a pre-draft combine interview or two, then he slides?
The reason they had the best record in the NFC last year was because of the guys that they have been drafting. How recent? There's Randy Gregory, who probably has smoked himself out of the league; Chaz Green, who hasn't stayed healthy; Ryan Russell, who disappeared; and Laurence Gipson, who didn't make the team. That's 2015.
Pointing out those players is not a criticism of the drafting because we actually drafted well that year. It merely shows that you just don't hit on every draft pick. Last year, we hit on more than you usually do, but that isn't the norm. Realistically, we're going to miss on some. (Even last year you could say we missed on Darius Jackson and we don't know on Jaylon Smith, Tapper, Gathers and Frazier yet.)
As long as we dont have to live through the pains of watching Heath play safety, I will be very happy.
Good one. For me Professor X with degrees in Termination & Elimination would be fitting if he turns out to be what we think he is....
He looked good vs GB in the playoffs, so we at least know he can perform on the big stage. To me it's his job at SS to lose.
Yeah, he sure was awful in that last game we played
I don't know why people have to hate on one player in order to like another. Heath has improved steadily since becoming a Cowboy, and I'm excited to see what his ceiling is. The thing with these Cowboys is that they are young with their arrows collectively pointing upwards.
Absolutely. I think Woods has the pedigree. I think Heath is being sold short. Too many people think Heath is a scrub because he got torched by Megatron a few years ago. He is not Ed Reed, but he has improved immensely since then. Woods may win the job but I wouldn't be surprised if Heath keeps it. In my eyes it's Heath's job to lose.If heath was any good he would have been starting by now with fodder we have had at safety. Im hoping Woods becomes the guy.

Not every arrow is pointing upwards when you talk about individual players. Why do people have to like every single player and coach on the Cowboys? Some guys are quality and some wont be here much longer. For my money, I am hoping that Woods can win the starting job. What you hate Woods?
Thank you.Hey, relax! I'm not attacking you, far from it. No need to take the Lord's name in vain there.
You must not have seen many safeties play if Wilcox is the worst you have ever seenI dont even remember anything about the megatron game. My reasoning is quite simple. In 3 years Heath couldnt even beat out Wilcox for playing time. Wilcox is one of the worst safeties I have EVER seen. I want someone better than Heath. Heath is pretty much the ONLY veteran safety on the roster so it would make sense he has the first shot at it.
He is part of the old guard that doesnt make plays. Woods looks like a play maker. I will be rooting for him.
I think the "dumbest" one of the top five guys taken was Ryan Switzer, and he's far from dumb. All five are very cerebral guys.
I'm a huge believer in this. Of course, they have to be great athletes, but guys that can think make a lot fewer bad plays.
Jaylon Smith is another smart guy to add, too.
A great example is Church and Wilcox. Wilcox is a far better athlete than Church, but Church is a smart dude and did the right things. Wilcox played like a mental midget far too often, and he hurt the team with silly mistakes in coverage constantly that his athleticism couldn't cover up.
Yeah, he sure was awful in that last game we played
He's smart and I like his attitude:
