Accolades? Are you serious? He never won in the post-season and he never won a Super Bowl, hell he didn't even come close to one. Hell he didn't even come close to the NFC championship game.
Playoff wins Super Bowl wins team achievement idk why you continue to use that as ammo against tony...I have no idea

Regular season stats that mean nothing. Absolutely nothing. He threw the ball around and even towards the end of his career was more than capable of tossing 5 interceptions and getting you beat. Anyone remember that Detroit game? Coasting along and then 5 INTS, kills the team.
The Detroit playoff game where romo brought us back from a 20 point deficit??

But again, you can't say that because you don't know how Dak would play on a team where there was constant, manhandling press coverage where he had to throw into tiny windows...do you think he would be good at it? Danny White deserves praise. He did his job in the playoffs and won games.

Those early 90’s teams did not have weak links. Aikman thrived. Comparing that to Romo’s Teams is not comparable. Question is what would Romo do with early 90’s teams and what would Aikman do with JG and Co.?

Romo had some good teams with good parts but Romo never had the best o-line, top 5 defense, emmitt and Irvin all on same squad at the same time plus Jimmy Johnson.
Romo had his chances , anyways check the 2nd post in this thread...my contention is Troy would be a beast in today's NFL, A passing league where the rules favor the offense and QB's.

It’s hard to remember games you invented out of thin air.

Right about romo not being HOF. Dak has more of a case than him already
Given the way the voters currently rule, there’s two ways that a QB can get into the Hall of Fame: overwhelming stat totals and playoff wins. Given that, it’s hard to think of a quarterback farther away from the Hall of Fame than Dak Prescott.

Was Tony a pocket guy who could fit it into windows? Not really. He was a guy who could create plays and throw into space. He was great at that. However, I think Troy, with a wide open offense and the 2007 team that had 13 pro bowlers and 5 All-Pros would win a playoff game.

No doubt Troy would beast out today but I’m not sure he would survive lack of offensive line protection as long as Romo did. Mr. Concussion showed u what he was capable of with a weaker o-line. Check stats 1996- early retirement.

I usually keep my head in this forum.
This topic gets me going, and Im not even one of the Romo-is-the-best fans. Just the stupidy of some the arguments irritates the crap outta me.

Need to bail.
This not the day to be squabbling over the past.
I just want Dallas to win today.
Baby steps, I guess

Go Cowboys

Think again...In 2007 in the playoffs Romo had 1.7 secs to get rid of the ball against the NY Giants, who went on to knock out Favre in Lambau Field and then the undefeated Patriots with Tom Brady and Randy Moss in the SB. Aikman May have been killed. Nobody knows

He still threw what should've been the game-winning pass with 17 seconds left.
Anyone can google the Crayton play. Dropped it right there right where it needed to be for game-winner.
No dice.
Team game and Tony is the very first one to say he shares in blame/credit for wins and losses. Key word being “shares”

Definitely a game of inches.
