They signed Fowler and Armstrong the day after Gregory signed with Denver...That had to have been setup ahead of time...

Stephen only wanted the re-signed contract if the Gregory camp accepted the clauses and terms - Cowboys bluffed, and lost ..

The luxury bonus is we get a compensatory pick from Gregory ..and we clearly find his replacement in Sam I am Williams, who is showing ever bit as higher
ceiling and potential impact player than Gregory ever has ...

I'll say this.....I believe they did a piss poor job of replacing him and bringing in talent.

But its worked. That doesn't mean I'd advocate doing this in order to improve your team because I don't think this is how you properly build a contender through a offseason. But it has worked. And they deserve their credit. They get to feel like the smartest people in the room because this shouldn't have worked.

No, I told everybody that we have a player with almost identical stats who's younger and has high character. Something Randy Gregory knows nothing about. I'm more disappointed that we offered a guy who gets 6 sacks a year, when he's not suspended, 70 million. That's ridiculous.

Dorrance Armstrong has turned into a better player than RG and Dante Fowler has been a great signing. RG had all the talent in the world, but not in the head

Stephen wanted Jerry to believe that Stephen was trying to sign him.

Stephen has developed methods to keep Jerry in check.

Without Stephen, Jerry would have:
Kept Dez.
Kept Romo.
Given Witten a new 5 year contract.
Kept Garrett with a new 5 year contract.
Drafted Johnny Manziel.
