Yards Per Rush - Pollard 1st Zeke 32nd out of 46 Running Backs.
Wow! Just saw this on ESPN. New team controversy?

Well, that gonna happen when one guy is your short yardage go to. And do note that Pollard has a career high of 14 carries in a game. He cannot do it alone. He is never going to be a bell cow.

Before yesterday he avg 9.5 carries. This game he had 1 ONE more carry than his previous game high. So my question is, how is Zeke holding him back? Is Malik Davis also holding him back?

Zeke averages 15.5 carries a game. There's your answer. If the Cowboys are run the ball ~25 times a game, Pollard should be getting 15 of those. Zeke is no longer a feature back.

The problem is Zeke’s role needs to be reduced and Pollards increased. It needs to be like it was yesterday with Pollard starting drives not Zeke.

If Jerry didn't mess up with Zeke's contract and giving him all that money, than Pollard would be our starter. Not Zeke.

That year when Zeke was holding out, I wish they had traded him. He was worth a few 1st rounders then. Now he's worth nothing.

Because when Zeke is in the lineup he can't do anything else but run up the middle for minimal gain. That is one less play we could have had putting the ball into our playmakers hands.

Yeah he was eligible for an extension after last season. We should've made him an offer.

We shoulda coulda doesn't cut it in the NFL. Goes to show how dumb Jerry/Stephen combo are with dealing with contracts.

So is Malik Davis holding pollard back? Forget Zeke for now. Pollard had 14 carries yesterday.

He is one of the worst RBs in the NFL right now by almost every metric.

This job is not a career achievement award. He was good when he entered the league. Why should that dictate how much he plays now?

The Zeke worship is absolutely mind blowing.
Today....63.3 yards per game......for both of our RBs. Both. So in essence....if the V8 truck gets there just like the Sports car......what's the problem, other than arriving earlier but the risk of a speeding ticket?

Malik Davis is not holding back Pollard. Malik Davis shows us how easy it is to replace Zeke. Basically, Zeke's production is somewhat like Malik Davis. He doesn't do much for the offense.

Yeah this would've been a good one to get ahead of, especially if we part ways with Zeke. I kind of expect Zeke takes a pay cut and we lose Pollard. That would suck.

Davis ran 8 for 23. If you're just going to lie and troll just say it. Yall are too invested in this Zeke pollard thing to the point you're making stuff up to prove a lame point

There should be no controversy whatsoever. Everyone knows who the better running back is right now. Pollard is a threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball and he makes this offense better. Doesn't mean Zeke sucks he is still productive and good to have on the team, it just means Pollard should get the ball around 15 times a game. If that pushes Zeke's touches down a little than so be it.

Pollard is literally averaging 2 more yards a carry than Zeke (4.1 vs. 6.2).

And before someone responds back with the sincerely ignorant response “yeah, well, Pollard’s average is only good due to his long runs,” yeah….that’s exactly right.

Both have their place but Zeke needs to be used more as the power back getting less touches. Pollard is too good to continue limiting his touches because the owner wants to keep Zeke happy.

I have seen Zeke do worst than that....still, they give him the benefit of the doubt and make him a starter.

I don't hate Zeke. I just hate that his production doesn't warrant his pay. He no longer is a top back and our offense is better off not trying to force the ball to Zeke.

I know the Cowboys nation will be pissed if we let Pollard go and keep Zeke.

Haven't we seen similar before......Some gamesmanship, or shall I say wordsmithing......"Cooper Rush is not holding back KMoore's offense. Cooper Rush shows us how easy it is to replace Dak. He doesn't do much for the offense. .......see how simple that was to make something about nothing.
