What you missing is that Zeke never performed better than Pollard after his contract. Dallas is a much better team with Pollard than with Zeke running the ball.

Yeah this would've been a good one to get ahead of, especially if we part ways with Zeke. I kind of expect Zeke takes a pay cut and we lose Pollard. That would suck.

NO If Zeke take a significant pay cut his extra $$ can be used directly or Pollard and then we have both basically for the same cost as they were together in 2022.. just money is divided differently.

what cut will Zeke be willing to take and pollard accept to stay?

Haven't we seen similar before......Some gamesmanship, or shall I say wordsmithing......"Cooper Rush is not holding back KMoore's offense. Cooper Rush shows us how easy it is to replace Dak. He doesn't do much for the offense. .......see how simple that was to make something about nothing.

If it's 3rd and 2, I feel better with Zeke in, but it's also VERY game flow dependent. Zeke is a grinder, TP will house it. Both are good backs.

Zeke is good at blocking, nothing more.

Pure example in response to a fellow poster who understands......But all honesty......the post doesn't make any sense to me at all, just like some of the Cooper Rush posts.....that's the similarity. That's why Cooper was entered into this fray as an example.

Actually I wish the same consistent energy was about LVE's overall play instead of a small sample size each game (what's his rank as an LB in the league), KMoore myth as a good OC (what's his rank as a top OC in the league), record on good teams that is not solely pinned on Dak, and then the overly enamored play about our backup (not Cooper's fault), unrelenting bashes on a RB that gets crushed all the time, out of a game or for playing hurt last year, just to name a few.....even after a WIN.

This reminds me of 2007 when we had Jones and Barber. Both do different things and get their yards in different ways. I still think going forward, we need both. But Zeke's needs to be getting less touches. Maybe about 5 per game. Give those to Pollard and find a way to get Pollard involved in the passing game.

Before yesterday he avg 9.5 carries. This game he had 1 ONE more carry than his previous game high. So my question is, how is Zeke holding him back? Is Malik Davis also holding him back?

I never said zeke held anyone back. Only Pollard should get 10-15 carries a game. Which out of 8 games he has hit that mark 4 times. Out of the 4 times he failed to hit 10 carries Zeke was the better runner that day twice but both days they struggled to run.

It’s a running back by committee situation. Pollard needs the biggest amount of carries but Zeke still has a role too.
