Mike Golic brought it up on Mike & MIKE. Do we keep the man who has been the one bright spot when it comes to overall stats on offense? Or do we dump him because we are looking for more team chemistry?

Winning cures chemistry.

Owens can help us win.

Owens stays. Although we need to be more run oriented next year. This will actually help TO in the long run.

Keep T.O.

Despite some bogus rumor (or misunderstanding) on this board, it WILL cost us more to cut him than to keep him.

He isn't the reason we're collapsing every December. Without him, opponents will stack the box and blitz Romo at will.

YOu dump him. If you only see stats, then you deserve to suffer with the failure of the team I guess. Unfortunately I love the Cowboys, so I want him gone. He is not a bad guy, but has never been team guy. EVery WR whines for ball, but he just takes it to media. THats what bad about it.

He divided locker rooms everywhere he has been. If that is not proof enough, I am not what would need to happen to see TO being problem.

Cowboys got other problems too, but without TO being gone, I am not sure other problems can be resolved. And I think It will be too late, if Garrett is gone. I am sure lot of people will jump with joy about Garrett leaving, much like they did when Sean Payton left.

Not sure its going to matter either way.

It would be nice to not have to hear about the guy all the time.

If Dallas gets a new head coach, I'd move TO. But, I don't see a new head coach coming until next year so I'd guess just keep him until next year.

Owens signed a three-year extension. The deal includes a $12.9 million signing bonus. He's staying for 2009. Opinion has nothing to do with it. Fact is he stays. But roll up another "would you keep TO thread".

Looking at the Arizona Carolina game and Fitzerlad catching all those crossing routes and getting yards , it seems that TO does have a point. Even whn Boldin is not playing * D is keying onto Larry , still Todd Haley ( yes same guy who was here in Dallas) is getting Larry the ball. Some thing to with the scheme and QB ? You have to wonder ..............

JG went flat in his sophomore year , it is a fact.

I told my wife TO needs to be running LArry Fitzgerald's routes but our O-line can't hold that long for the play to develop...

If better team chemistry equates to winning the super bowl, cut TO today.

I fully expect Fitz to say he needs to be more involved in his post game comments.

Cutting T.O. would be monumentally stupid.

If that were true Jones would have done it. Monumentally stupid was signing owens in the first place.

Good point ! O-L play regressed too much this year. But again that is JG (& Houck's ) repsonsiblity , on the offensive side. When the O-L is not playing too well good offensive co-ord throw their regular schemes out and plan short fast developing routes and let the playmkers gain yards after. But didn't happen ... :(

Warner threw up a jump ball that Fitz jumped over 2 defenders to go get.

His crossing pattern was due to the Cards Oline stoning a Panther blitz and giving Warner all day to throw.

I'm not trying to give Garrett a pass, but some of the big plays that happened were due to execution. TO cannot make the plays Fitz can make. Not to mention our Oline fell apart late in the year and Romo had no time to throw.

I've seen a few people saying TO divided the locker room. Does anyone have any proof or this just all talk?
