Are you saying don't resign Austin? because that is ridiculous, maybe a 3-4 year Deal instead of 6, but if Austin stopped producing after the Atlanta and KC games I would understand considering not resigning him, but he has been unstoppable since the KC Game, another 110 yard game with a TD yesterday.
4 games with 100+ yards in 8 starts, call me crazy but that doesn't sound like a fluke.

Resigning Sensabaugh is needed, who knows what we will get in the draft and a 2 year deal is not long.

Hey I like Miles too, but he hasn't been unstoppable. Philly, Green Bay and Washington and the others before hand. This isn't a slam on Miles, it's a realistic view at what has happened. He's been Superman at times and I love the possibilities. But Barber was Superman, Roy Williams was Superman, Ken Hamlin wasn't Superman, he was just that Ritz cracker in the face of Roy Williams Saltine performance.

Jerry needs to get control of these situations and get these guys to actually earn something before rewarding them. Fear of losing them isn't cutting it, because if it's even one or two guys disappointing, they're enough to destroy a good thing, just like we saw yesterday. Like what we've been seeing for years.

If he's the brilliant business mind everyone lauds him as, he'd know how to get top product with out continually being burned. He's constantly being burned. By this very suggestion of yours. It's not up to me have an answer, just because I recognize the pattern, but I can't deny it either. It's an often repeated mistake in Dallas.

who in their right mind is going to give us a top 12 pick for Barber or a 2nd rounder for Hamlin?

Sometimes I think fans think that other teams must oblige a trade if they answer the phone.

Browns GM: "Yes?"
Jerry Jones: "Marion Barber for your first rounder! HaHaHa. You heard the offer so now you have to take it...."
Browns GM: "Dang it. I knew we should have paid for caller i.d. Okay, we'll make the deal."

Ummmm... no.

Miles Austin will be a part of this offense for a long time to come, and a central part of it at that.

Austin needs atleast a 3 year deal, he has earned it.

I know the season is not nearly over, but what do you do during the Off Season (Pre-draft).

What trades? Who gets resigned? What free agents do you pickup.

I trade Marion Barber for a top 12 pick (for McClain) and a 3rd rounder.

I trade Ken Hamlin for a early 2nd round pick.

I resign Austin to a 6 year deal.

I resign Sensabaugh to a 2 year deal.

Re-negotiate Ratliff's deal.

Resign Marcus Spears to a 3 year dael

Resign Stephen Bowen to a 2 year deal

Resign Junior Siavii to a 2 year deal.

People let go:
Pat McQuistan
Cory Procter
Montrae Holland
Jason Hatcher
Alan Ball
Sam Hurd
Pat Watkins

We'd be lucky to get a 4th rounder for Mb3. Your resigns is actually why this team is putting crap on the field. Austin 6 year deal? Child please.

Well you will likely get your wish because this would be a very "Jerry" thing to do (and that does not mean its a good thing).

Its good in my opinion, Barber has produced for multiple seasons and for the past 2 games has hit a little roadbump, oh well Next week he will play better.

Barber was a back up that got paid full time money and hasn't produce to the level of his contract. He's not the only one who isn't living up to their deal. Hamlin is another jerk that's just taking Jerry and so is RW. Barbers TD aren't anywhere near what they used to be. His fumbles and injuries have gone up since he's be our #1 back.

Hamlin is better than ball, had he played Yesterday we may have won, as I have to believe he would've stopped that Jacobs TD.

What leaves you to believe that when Hamlin didn't stop Marshall. Hamlin is a pretty crappy tackler and Ball wasn't even in on the play it was sensabaugh that got blocked. So what are you really saying ?

if Hamlin was their we would've run a different defensive play, I'm confident that Wade has more confidence in Hamlin than Ball.

One has been starting for multiple seasons.

Glad you brought up his multiple starts. Did you see the ravens cowboys game last season. hamlin was on the field and a RB and FB went for 2 70+ yard td's plays. Whats your excuse for that one ?

I don't have one, but a change of scenario and maybe the outcome is changed in the play? Just pointing it out that losing Hamlin had some effect on us.
