He’s not even third in snaps on that team at receiver. Sheffield is ahead of him.

That’s an excuse. Mind you, he played behind Gallup, Lamb and Amari in Dallas lol.
and he exploded when one of them were out. JUst like anything in sports.... you need opportunities. Look at the Kid Knight in NY. Dude got zip playing time. Hall went down, carter went down and Knight kicked butt.
Samajie Perine didnt sniff any real time with Mixon healthy. Perine takes over and hes a top RB when Mixon is out. Plenty of damn good players are wasting away on someones bench.

That’s an excuse. Jeff Wilson, Gesiki and Edmonds have more targets than him and they aren’t even receivers.

Sherfield who is a receiver seems to be getting targets. Wilson is an after thought just like most guys who leave here.

Players always get more hype when they play for Dallas. Alvin Harper anyone?

I'm not kidding.
I'm not a "Cooper fan" so stop with the lame, lazy go-to.
Amari didn't take a jab and it hurt Jerry's feelings that's why he's gone.
it didnt hurt his feelings... Cooper didnt take the Jab and he missed a critical game as a result. See ya

We already debated that to death.

The majority opinion was...it was a good move by the Cowboys.

Could this be because those who felt Cooper shouldn't have been traded
were suppressed by the mass of keyboard warriors claiming numerous bs
stories on why he's gone and chose to stay quiet?

How many of the supposed 32,000 members gave their opinion? Or, was there a poll?

Because, for a month now, it's been all about "OBJ". A broken down WR that
can't even run a route until January who's looking for a final contract.
That same "majority" was drooling at the thought of signing this guy.

We shouldn’t have let cooper go. You don’t sign a WR that won’t play this year. The only real issue is why Jerry outed all this to the media. Nothing came out from bills or giants. Seems like a move by the team. We could have just not said anything at all they didn’t have to put the guys medical info out there.

So, Cooper Rush saved Dak Prescott by beating the Vikings last year
while CeeDee Lamb cost Amari Cooper because they lost to KC?

Coop was not traded because of his stats, he was not traded because of his salary, he was traded shortly after Jerry publicly said Coop was not being a team player.

Why did Jerry say Coop was not being a team player? He wouldnt get vaccinated and he missed playing time as a result. Once Jerry publicly outed Coop, his time in Dallas was done and everybody else in the league knew it.

That is why all we got for him was a bag of Doritos while everybody else in the league is getting first round picks for their WRs.

Cedrick Wilson was way overpaid by Miami (7.35M APY with 12.75M guaranteed).

He has averaged 26% of snaps on offense.

With Hill and Waddle he’s an afterthought. Plus he was injured . In Dallas he would have been the perfect complement to 88 and 13 . Then no need to sign Washington and no need to grab a WR round three who’s collecting dust ,

They signed James Washington for 1.1875M.

The 7.35M for Wilson would have been quite expensive for a 3rd WR.

  • Wilson is not even playing #3 WR snap quantities.
    • Wilson Past 3 games
      • 30%
      • 43%
      • 20%
  • Noah Brown Past 3 games
    • 75%
    • 45%
    • 79%

He’s buried behind Hill & Waddle . He was playing well here .
Yes he was really good here last year but He was a #4 here who played because of injury.

It’s not true at all to say he is buried behind Hill and Waddle. He was not expected to be anything but a #3. No one would expect him to take snaps from those two. The guy keeping off the field is the mighty Trent Sherfield who before this year hadn’t had 10 catches in a season since 2018.

sorry man tired of this, it was NOT a mistake, his 22mil salary did NOT FIT , we used that money for team building that made this team 9-3 and headed to the playoff's after letting go of several starters,. our offense is Not suffering.

if you believe that 22mil for cooper is somehow the same as maybe 5mil OBJ as rental for 8 games and probably some highly structured deal at 10-11 mil to play next year, you put way topo much stock in Names on the back of jerseys.

cooper was not let go over his skillset, it was well known 75% of his release was business ie $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ok , please get that straight. adding OBL is insurance, simply and added threat headed done the stretch.. his $$ would not effect our team like Coopers was going too.

so im sick and tired of cooper's fan club members saying it was mistake.it was not we aren't missing a #1 or even a #2 WR , this is NOT 2018 when we were desperate for a #1 target.. cooper simply did not fit here his $$ and the development of Lamb and a much cheaper Gallup made hjis expendable..

IDC either way of OBJ comes or goes but hes not replacing what we lost in cooper that already been done..you living under a rock,. once dak got back here and CD and Gallups starting hitting their strides weve been one of the top scoring Offenses in the league..notce CD is top 5-7 WR production this year, big plays guy, start to do things in the run game etc.

seriously we do not miss AC nor are trying top find his replacement.

If one of them gets injured we are really short handed. Plus, a healthy OBJ is much better than Noah Brown as your WR3.

Not hard to see why adding more proven playmakers is a good thing. The only issue is health.

How in hades do people keep missing this?

I've been a Wilson fan from the start. However, you simply do not pay the Wilson's of the league 7 mil. This is not rocket science.

You absolutely do not pay the Coopers of the league 22 mil. Coop is a lower tier #1 WR of the 10 mil/season type.
