Uh why? If you don't think Dak can win it all, why keep him on the roster eating up a significant % of the cap?

If you want to move on from someone, that means you know they don't have it. I'd even argue you view them as a liability. Dak leads us to the same result if we traded him without a replacement: No trophy, but we'll have more cap space.

Yeah sorry I just don’t think as highly of Burrow as you do until he actually proves it. He’s not Aaron or Mahomes.

He is their peer after beating Pat’s squad 3 out of 4 times (once in a CCG on the road), and several other big games against high end defenses. He has big skins on the wall, even if he has yet to get a SB. Too many big time throws into tight coverage against good defenses in the clutch moments. And i you were inserting Dak into winning with the same Bengals team which is the same as equating them.

This is just logic.

At least he made it to a SB which means he's done what Dak has never done - made it to and won a conference title game. Did it on his rookie contract too. Never pay a QB who doesn't get you there on his rookie deal. That's how you end up married to QBs who won't get you anywhere.
