I don't think anybody has seriously nominated him (figuratively) for the HOF.
We are simply having fun, enjoying the development of a diamond found in the rough.

Having said that, neither are the Romo fans gonna downplay his stats and performance so far.

If you were in prison for 8 years, I guess when you finally got out, you would just walk down the street with no enthusiasm. Well, not us. We've been in QB hell for years, and now we've finally found someone who gets it.

If the guy in 4 games had had like 3 ints a game, and hit on only half or less of his throws, and was sacked tons of times, then we would not feel this way.

But he's been blitzed, hit, sacked, intercepted, cover 2, cover 3, mixed blitzes, and somehow he's still able to connect on a HIGH percentage of his passes without throwing interceptions. So excuse me if I lose my f'ing head!

I don't mean to rain on anyone one's parade. But Danny White was a great QB anyone here old enough to have watched him would have known that. The Eagle NFC Championship, the D let us down by letting two different RBs (Wilbert Montgomery and Leroy Harris technically a FB get over 100 yards on us, And if you think he lost the 49er Championship then I know you haven't a clue, As for the Skins they.. well they just beat us up badly, And In my opinion the reason we sucked in the mid to late 80's was T Landry stuck with Hogeaboom Not White (and then Peulleur ) what a joke. So That my .02 on White who was a Great Cowboy QB, Now for Romo, I like what I see so far and I was the one who said we would win 8 straight and you all laughed and called me CRAZY,, So we shall see..

Jesus I hate the excitement police.

All anyone's doing is responding the way you should to a QB who just had argueably as impressive a 1st 5 starts of his NFL career as anyone in the history of the game.

Will it last? Who knows. But isn't that even more reason to celebrate it now?

Noone is saying he's Unitas yet ... just that his NFL beginning has been more impressive than Johnny U and most of the other all-timers for that matter.
