Wrong. Not when you have Uncle Jerry's door wide open for players. There is no accountability and that is all because of Jerry.
That’s a perfect response because it’s true. I believe they can go to Jerry if they don’t like what the coach says. That needs to stop. and everybody knows Jerry, at least that’s what everybody says. So it’s up to the incoming coach to stop it.

How does the coach stop it? Jerry is in charge. It's not changing.

Good thread, if you’re going to complain, have a solution. And the solution get Jerry out of the way as much as possible.

The Circus. No accountability. No leadership
So how do you change it. That’s up to a coach who has some moxie right off the bat Jerry sit there write the check when I tell you to. But that’s not how franchisees are run. The GM gives you the players and you’re supposed to make it work. Financing salary cap that’s what the GM is supposed to do. Everything else goes downhill.

You can disagree with it all you want but 30 years of FACTS say the culture is that the buck stops with Jerry in Dallas. He's really the Head Coach.
It’s not 30 years of facts. It’s 30 years of no championship and that’s why we’re all disappointed. He’s not the head coach he’s the head in the head lol

I understand the feeling of that trust me. I don’t know how to change it, I’m trying to live with it. Someone just has to tell him I’m in charge. I’m not coming. Bill Belichick is probably the only one I can think of but he’s done.

That’s a very good question yeah, if it was me the head coach. Imagine walking off the field during the middle of a game middle of the season. I can almost see that happening.

All these names floated around like Moore and Johnson and Gruden and all those others. I don't think they have what it takes to build a culture in Dallas. Moore can't do that for sure. Deion seems to think he can but I think he is a flash in the pan and his act will wear out. A guy like Tomlin is the epitome of this of what you need.

I think that guy is Marcus Freeman from Notre Dame personally. I think he is the guy we need. Now, is building that type of culture possible with the Jones circus show around? It would be difficult but the right personality could do it. Jerry should be ringing his phone early next week. You could probably also include Curt Cignetti in the call list as well.
Tomlin won a championship with Cowher's players. Here is Tomlin's culture....Always be over .500. Be good early in the season and fade late and lose in the playoffs, recently get stomped in the playoffs.....maybe he is a good candidate for here.....LOL

He's got the best job in football right now. Why would he leave? Unless he has an NFL itch to scratch and I can't find anything about him expressing that ambition.

You are not going to get a culture change in Dallas as long as Jerry draws breath.
You had one with Parcells. I understand he was a personality that could usurp Jerrys crap. I think the right guy could influence Jerry in the right direction. I know he is a narcissist but he has to have that thought in the back of his mind that he is the problem . That thought could be exploited by the right guy!
