But that was way after all the maneuvering was going around. It was that maneuvering that helped Brady, but the culture was still thereCan't win without Brady.

Has nothing to do with what we’re talking about. Can't win without Brady.
I think we could win with Trey Lance, yeah I’m ready. Lol is a lot to mold there...I want a coach, that when you play a ROOKIE qb in playoffs, you win.
Anything otherwise, says lots.
Yes ...... which is exactly my point ....... even one of the greatest coaches in history was barely over 500 with Jerry Jones as a GM.That’s pretty good for Dallas. Having to deal with Jerry.
We had the guy Prescott, everything fell apart. Once Elliot held out and Freddie got sick and left and went and left and on and on and on. I remember we lost our starting wide receiver tight end center all in the same season. It was a disaster. And then the window closed...I want a coach, that when you play a ROOKIE qb in playoffs, you win.

I am all for a culture change, but hiring another 70+ year old coach who didn't win anything until he had Brady is not my idea of someone I'd want here. Really we should be pounding the pavement for Aaron Glenn, I think this is the guy who checks all the boxes we're looking for if we are serious, but I don't believe we are very serious as we will probably end up with Zimmer. Listen, I like Zim, but not as my HC.But that was way after all the maneuvering was going around. It was that maneuvering that helped Brady, but the culture was still there
You play 500 football because you draft in the middle of the pack. We were always able to beat any team on any giving Sunday. That’s what Jerry gave us. He didn’t care about the championship as much as winning. Strange isn’t it winning and championship means two different thingsYes ...... which is exactly my point ....... even one of the greatest coaches in history was barely over 500 with Jerry Jones as a GM.
I totally agree.I am all for a culture change, but hiring another 70+ year old coach who didn't win anything until he had Brady is not my idea of someone I'd want here. I never said I wanted Belichick, I just used him as an example of what type of coach he was. Along with the three others, I mentioned that are no longer in football along with Belichick.I am all for a culture change, but hiring another 70+ year old coach who didn't win anything until he had Brady is not my idea of someone I'd want here. Yes to both questions. Before him they went 5-11, 5-11, 5-11. It's not like he took over a young, winning, well-constructed team.A franchise QB? Turned around a 5-11 team? I mean he was a lot better than Campo ........ but he was not saddled by the cap like Campo.
Parcells went
10-6
6-10
9-7
9-7
34-32 in Dallas, counting two playoff losses
I’m sure he’s not having as much as the last three 12-5 seasons (prior to the GB debacle). But it’s far from the Campo era. And, in a convoluted way, he’s probably in hog heaven right now with all the attention around the coaching speculation.I don't think he is having much fun right now. The pressure from the fan base is escalating to a degree I don't think he has seen before. I may be wrong but that is the feeling I get. I am sure he feels that and hears all the whispers of him being the problem!
"Hey guys lets turn around a 5-11 team coached by Dave Freakin Campo in Cap hell"Yes to both questions. Before him they went 5-11, 5-11, 5-11. It's not like he took over a young, winning, well-constructed team.
Absolutely, sad but trueThere has been only 1 constant since the last SB. THAT'S the problem.
I’m in my third step, lolJerry and his children are not going anywhere. These posts are the denial portion of grief.
Culture change?
Don't put words in Jerry's mouth so you can have another reason to hate him. The facts still stand that he turned that team around."Hey guys lets turn around a 5-11 team coached by Dave Freakin Campo in Cap hell"
10-6
6-10
9-7
9-7
No playoff wins
Jerry Fans - "SUCCESS! WE DID IT!"
Cowboy Fans - "sigh"
I did not put words in Jerry's mouths ....... I was mocking his pathetic fanclub.Don't put words in Jerry's mouth so you can have another reason to hate him. The facts still stand that he turned that team around.
